Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I have a shudder (and now a clunk) that feels like is coming from the transmission.
I had a pulsating brake. The truck cut off on me with no warning. The truck
intermittently runs rough idle or not. I received a call from a service manager
saying that they would reload the PCM software to correct the stall problem.
They repaired the brakes by replacing calipers and cut rotors, but tried to
get me to pay for rear brakes. I took the truck to a local midas who said that
nothing was wrong with the rears. When I picked up the truck the repair bill
didn't mention anything about suggesting rear brake repair, no mention about
reload of PCM flash. The shudder, rough run and stall was simply noted as "could
not duplicate". When I questioned the bill, I was told by another Service
rep that they would never reload flash. I then asked about the recommendation
related to the rear brakes and why it wasn't on the bill. He needed to run back
and talk to the mechanic. He returned with a newly printed bill with the rear
brake recommendation on it. I then asked what diags were performed to isolate
the shudder, stall, and roughness. He could not give me a good answer and only
mentioned the possibility of installing a black box.
I work in the telecommunications field and can easily tell that these guys did
no diagnostics at all to isolate the issues I am concerned with. Stay clear.
I'm living up to my part of the bargain. $565 a month to Chrylser ... they should
live up to theirs.

Poor- Always find something wrong with my 99 Durango when in for one thing.
Last week topped it off though - in for one problem - which was supposedly fixed
for 34.00 -same problem occurred within minutes of leaving the dealership- took
back in - found 1200.00 problem NOT covered by warranty. Was told parts were
in for a repair left it there all day - picked up and was told parts were NOT
in. Never was called at work and told anything. Was also the same day told found
one problem- (175.00) told them to wait on repair - later got a call and was
told that was a mistake it was problem that was covered by warranty. Love my
salesperson and had thought of dealing with her again however we will NOT deal
with Morgan again due to the experiences we have had lately with the service
department!!!!

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
I am a 4-time Jeep owner and all have been bought from Morgan Dodge Jeep. This
is a GREAT dealership. I have only had wonderful experiences with sales and
service. For all of you that say you have had unpleasant experiences with Morgan
Dodge Jeep, you have never stopped to "smelled the roses", and enjoyed a family
of employees that really care about each of their customers. Slow down, relax,
and listen to your salesperson or service advisor, they are there to serve you
and your vehicle needs. It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand!

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor,
I have never brought my truck in for service, where Morgan Dodge didn't find
something else wrong with it. Today, they told me my battery was junk when its
been running fine. Every time I bring it in for routine maintenance, they find
something else wrong with it, and they are only too happy to repair it for additional
charges. I find it hard to believe that a 1999 truck could have this much go
wrong.
Phone service is useless at this dealership. Its almost impossible to get an
appointment because service never picks up the phone. Then, when you call up
to check the status of your vehicle you never get to talk to a service representative.
I asked the receptionist when my truck would be ready and she said they'll call
when its done. No estimate was given, not even a guess at when it would be ready.
Finally, when you pick up your truck. You pay first then have to wait forever
as they look for a person to find your truck on their lot and then drive it
to you. I tried to go find my truck after I paid for the repair but they told
me customers were not allowed in the service lot.
I love my Ram, I hate the Dodge dealership.
