I called National Dodge and requested a 90,000 mile servicing and they quoted me about $700. They told me to bring it in on Monday Apr 13 and it would be done. I brought it and dropped it off, they called me at home and said they found a few problems and wanted to know if I wanted them fixed, and I asked how much it would cost, they stated $1600. I told them to do only the necessary repairs. Curious, I called Cherry Point Dodge (1 Hour away) and asked how much for a 90,000 mile servicing and some other repairs and was quoted about $800 for everything. Cherry point looked up my VIN and estimated the cost on what my vehicle actually needed. I called National back and asked if they looked up my vehicle by VIN they said, no. I then began to question the price they are charging me, first they stated "that first quote was wrong, I accidentally looked up the price for a different model truck and re-adjusted to $1500. I asked why Cherry Point Dodge was $500 less just for the 90,000 servicing....quite substantial. I was told they perform whatever maintenance they feel is necessary based on their experience for the area. So, am I to believe a 90,000 mile service is different depending on the dealership I take it to and a lot more money??? I also found out they performed a service on my truck which wasn't required yet, had they pulled up my service record, they would have seen it was done not too long ago. So, there answer was to give me 10% off a service they performed which wasn't even needed. Also, their one day promise of my servicing being done turned into me having a rental vehicle for 2 days because they couldn't finish the maintenance on time. After me complaining about the price and constant phone calls my price is now $1389. I just wonder how many other people are getting priced gouged like this, I will pay my money - grin and bear it but I can promise I will never bring my truck to this dealership ever again. I will also tell everyone I know about my experience so they don't make the same mistake. It's sad, I've been a Dodge owner since the late 90's and never had a problem like this.

Went to the dealership numerous times attempting to buy a vehicle, sales director was rude and vulgar with me and my wife. When he was confronted he called the J-ville PD to escort me out. They are lying cheating scoundrels at this dealership. Earehart Dodge in Beckley WV opened my eyes to what a true five star dodge dealer should be. They re honest up front and fair unlike National Dodge. All Marines should stay away and go to any other dealership except these lying cheats. They have up to 9000 dollar mark up on their stock. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I brought my 1998 Dodge Stratus there for a hidden warranty on a head gasket that was suppose to be 100% warranty under a 100,000 miles. I had approximately 95,000 miles on my car and they made me pay 200.00 for the gasket, And threaten to call my command on me. The service was awful. When I left with a new head gasket, my exhaust manifold was somehow cracked. National will break something on your car so that you will continue to bring the car back to them. I don't trust them and nobody should.

First, I brought a great '92 Custom Ram 250 Van, brand new at a much higher price than I wanted to pay but we wanted this vehicle. We took it nowhere else but to National for service. Each time we did go in for service over 5 years, we put out over $150 and sometimes as high as $400. From day one, we had always complained about wind noise on the driver’s side (several times). Never found the problem for 4 years, finally the first time ever with this vehicle, I rode inside while it went through a carwash, to which I saw water drops coming in the drivers’ door. That evening I took a flashlight and could actually see the light outside between the door and the doorframe. Went in to service the next day, told them about my discovery, they worked on it, said it was fixed and I went on my way only to find it was worst than before. We like the van so much that we just decided that we’d just have to live with it in its state. Sent letters to Dodge headquarters and they said we should have reported our problems to them earlier.
As for sales, we have gone there many times, just looking and the salesmen are like mosquitoes on human blood. Not only do they attack you on their lot, they continue on the phone so much that you need to screen your calls with an answering machine or get caller ID. The last two times we gone up there, we got two different salesmen and if I were to purchase a vehicle from National, I would ask for someone else. Be watchful when dealing with them and by all means shop around. My wife and I have been looking for a new vehicle for the last four months, we got cash but just haven't found what we want.
As I said shop around , if the salesman comes on too strong look else where.

Sales=Good, Service=Good, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Not like most sales departments in J'ville. They didn't pushed me ... but they also didn't give me a good deal. They are fair but you have to work with them. If you're dumb about it, they can take you for more than you have. But that is your fault. The service department is honest, they have a systematic way of doing things so once again if you're smart about things, things will work much smoother. I have a warranty so anything free is good. This is good business, they don't wheel and deal like the other dealerships in Jacksonville. They present an offer so they can make money and its up to you to decide how much they will make.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
After talking with them on the phone, I drove four hours to buy my truck from National. They are a class act through and through and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. They don't forget about you after the sale either.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
First off WHO EVER wrote the message below is obviously salesman. How else can know the ENTIRE sales staff??? This dealership is in a military town where and ill quote one of their #1 sales staff as saying " if you don't like the price, I've got 100 stupid Marines who will" If you live in J'ville find somewhere else to shop!!! They add $600 dollars to the sticker for which it costs them $75. I've sold cars half my life and let me tell you STAY AWAY!!!!  STAY AWAY FROM SALES,, you'll Get RIPPED.      The 2 service advisors are FANTASTIC!!!!! However the service dept is good at best. Of that GREAT Diesel mechanic is good, but a real butt head to talk too. My 2 cents worth

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
sales personnel are top self, easy to get along with and don't forget who you are after the sale!! #2 service department is very friendly, has Diesel tech that is current with the Cummins. This dealership is the only place I have my Cummins worked on. If you're in the market for a truck give these people a chance to serve you, a true 5 star dealer that rates a 6th star!!

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know / No Experience
