Bought car "as is", however this dealership along with "as is"
advertise that they will stand behind all vehicles they sale new or Used. Promised
for 10 months to fix major problems car. Randy Jr and sidekick George started
talking junk about their own sales people, real turn off.
Randy Jr due to problems of this car made an appointment with me after 3 months
of talk because he decided what needed to be done from 2nd conversation was
with me into another car. When I went to the appointment he had a car, when
I decided one of the two cars he had would be ok, he started backing out of
the promise. Randy Jr agreement was to keep my car payments the same, now I
know you are probably saying there was no way he could do this, then he should
have been honest with me from the beginning. He and George then kept insisting
that I needed to go back to the salesman that sold me the car and make him responsible.
They even started saying that Mr Mullens who bought out the satellite in Gastonia
should be responsible since I bought the car from their dealership. These men
were playing games and I guess because I was a woman thought i knew nothing
of buying cars and you know what the thing that has made me so hot on this is
they were never honest from the beginning. Randy Marion employee in Mooresville
was the first one who told me the reason they sold the dealership was because
of the lying that was going on with the customer, then George stated the same
thing. George states you hire people and don't know them so that is why I am
telling you to make the salesman responsible. I advise Randy and George that
the name plate on my car states Randy Marion not a salesperson name. He became
really ticked off. George became red face. They were trying to pull a lot of
BS and I was not listening to it. Problem with my car stared 3 weeks after I
bought it. I was in the car dealership every other week or third week with promises.
Both of the salespeople who were involved would testify that I had been told
that the dealership would help take care of the problems. My thing with Randy
Jr is that he tried to put all the problem off on someone else, not man enough
to deal with it so he then turned it over to George who at the end states my
suggestion would be this car is so useless and not worth anything is to take
it to another car lot and load it off of them. I have bought approximately 7
cars and I have never heard the un professionalism in two men in my life. The
big thing here is I am sure there are happy people who have purchased cars from
them, but I can tell you this those who have purchased from them either bought
a new car with a warranty or a used car that still had some warranty or maybe
a family who had bought numerous autos from them or family and friends buying
from them. All dealerships will stand behind the factory warranty , extended
warranty, or if there is still some form of warranty but this dealership who
advertises "we stand behind every car that goes off our lot" are liars.
This is what you will get with Randy Marion dealership. 1. Lies 2. Lies 3. Lies
4. No return call once the real problems start and 4. Lies Problem with this
car just so you know more of the story: chip in computer blew, car windshield
wipers blew, odometer blew, blew out lights in the rear to the point there needs
to be body work done and now the transmission going. All of this one a 45,000
mile car, that had 27,000 when I bought it.
If anyone needs more on this because there is more, call me 704-263-1714
