01 CTD would crank but wouldn't start, so I had it towed to this dealership expecting warranty coverage. They replaced the lift pump under warranty, but charged me $80 for their "diagnostic time," as they said they did on all warranty LP replacements. Sounded pretty shady to me, so I spoke to a friend in Louisiana who's a dodge service manager; he confirmed they were scamming me. Minot service manager still refused to refund my money. Finally, I spoke to a service manager at a dealership in Indiana while on vacation, and he explained the codes on my repair order, showing me straight from his book that everything should have been under warranty. He also gave me a Chrysler 800 number to call to report poor service. That was enough to convince Minot Chrysler that they had indeed been billing their customers wrong on warranty LP replacements, and they refunded me the $80. Imagine they had been scamming folks for quite awhile!
A cummins engine is worth the hassle of a dodge truck. My 01 has been pretty reliable with just the following problems: steering gear replacement (constantly pulled left); steering half shaft replacement (new one is squeaking again); and the aforementioned lift pump episode. Hard to complain when you're getting 18-19 MPG and can pull an oak tree out the ground...

Service Writer's/Adviser knowledge seems to be just at the level necessary to perform - Not very fast/efficient in waiting on customers
