The sales people at this dealership are very unprofessional and they are very rude. Bob Neal and his brother are the worst lying thieves I have ever met. They do not care about their customers they only care about selling you an overpriced vehicle. After I bought the truck I called for a part that was missing and should have been included with the sale and they told me if I wanted it I would have to pay for it. When I called back to complain they hung up on me. I could not believe this was grown men acting like they were in high school yelling at me on the phone and hanging up. I am warning all consumers to stay away from the snakes that work there.

Bob Neal is rude and obnoxious and he is a manager. The sales people at this dealership are snakes, they lie, LIE. LIE and try to get you to sign anything. They advertise one price they before you know it you get charged for made up things that are all bogus. WARNING - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!!

This Dealership is horrible. We were warned about this place by my father in law, but decided to go anyway. My husband loves the Dodge Ram. They approved us for one truck & let us to believe that it was ours. However, returning to sign final papers, the loan did not go through. They did try to keep the sale though. They showed my husband the same exact truck he was trading in. When husband said "I just traded this is in". The best the salesman could say was, "Yeah but the one you traded in, was a different color.". Yeah we wanted to get rid of it because of the color. Talk about intelligent life. That isn't the problem. They refused to return our trade in. They kept our truck for 3 days. When I demanded that they get it, the GM told that there is no way he was going to have it delivered until the next day. The following day, when it was brought back, somehow the keys were locked in the GM's office & he had left for the day. This place is a nightmare!! These people are slim balls. They are a disgrace to Dodge.

Love the Dodge Truck, however would NEVER deal with Performance Dodge in Woodbury, NJ again. Avoid them at all costs. Financing department manager Brian is a snake and a liar. Sales Manager is incompetent and full of false promises that he never follows through on. You can never get a straight answer, or a resolution to a problem. Beware. PS. Service department has been good to work with all other areas have been less than desirable.  Love the truck

After dealing with them I feel pretty confident that I can sell trucks too. The sales department sucks, service department is OK so far.

I usually change my own oil, but I moved to a house without a garage so I took it to my nearest Dodge dealer for the January oil change. Since I was there, I asked if there were some standard service items that I should do at 15k miles (big mistake). I have not had to make any repairs to my 2001 Dodge Dakota and am very pleased with it and with the West Virginia Dodge dealer I bought it from. I thought I would be taking good care of it by requesting a checkup.
They insisted that I would need to replace my fuel injectors/emissions pack, whatever that is. The manager said that that would regain better mileage. I keep detailed track of my mileage and I have not lost more than 1-2 mpg since I bought the vehicle in October 2000. Confronted with that fact, he insisted that "then, you'll get more pep". I retorted that I had not noticed any loss of power and it had all I needed, but that I could be mistaken. He then said that "well, this is standard service and you really need to do it." I reluctantly consented and $143 later I'm pretty sure I was scammed. The next closest Dodge dealer is much further away, but I will never return to Performance Dodge, especially after my suspicions are confirmed by other people's postings.

I went into this dealership even after reading the reviews on this site, and I'm amazed at how absolutely true they are. This is the worst dealership, they play the bait & switch game and it's sickening. They tell you one thing and produce another, not to mention the fact that they are throwing numbers all over the place to try to confuse you. They were pretty much trying to lock the door as the salesman was hanging off of my legs as I was trying to leave there, and then they got really ugly with me and rude that I was in fact leaving, this is a very unprofessional dealership, I believe that most car dealerships are shady, but this one has got to be #1 in unprofessionalism. Take my advice please, don't go there.
Salesman Steve Moser is horrible as is the finance department guy Brian - UGH don't go there!!

This dealership is the worst I've ever dealt with, they are in the business to make bad deals!! They take pot shots at the people who patronize them, slam you while your there and when you finally come up for air and realize what just happened --- they don't remember who you are and insult you, berate you, and are just a horrid dealership. Right now I'm driving around with signs on my brand new truck letting people know not to buy at this dealership and they can certainly ask me why. The whole entire deal that was worked out with the salesman is something completely different than what we actually got in the end, and now they don't even want to fix the situation.
If you are planning on going to this dealership please think again!!! If you think twice and still want to go there, don't sign anything the same day you are looking and make sure to read, re-read, and re-re-read any paperwork they put in front of you... they are tricky, the whole bunch of them... salesmen, sales manager, & the financial officer!!!
DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!!!!! Look elsewhere... other Dodge dealerships to check out:

I bought a 2002 Dodge Ram last year. Less than a week later they ran a longer warranty on Dodge trucks. No one will tell me that fact was not known and I was a repeat customer. Also had same experience in service dept. They don't want to service or replace parts that are under warranty on your vehicle. I just go in and tell them that they are going to do it and it is under warranty - I don't ask anymore. Generally overall insult the intelligence of the educated buyer and too stupid to know better.

After I agreed to a price and took the car for the a test drive they tried to up the price $1000. Also the service dept never wanted to cover parts under my warranty. They would claim the part was different then what was listed on the warranty coverage sheet. Had to argue with service dept before they would cover the part. Service dept very unfriendly and seemed very reluctant to cover anything under warranty.
