We purchased a 2005 Dodge Diesel, a Lone Star Edition and loved the vehicle and was not pressured but was given an opportunity to find the right truck and the salesmen was extremely helpful. We were given a great deal and I plan on buying from here again in the next month. Tax and sales rates are much less costly than buying in phoenix, Az. Would recommend this dealership.
Love Dodge and I would recommend this dealership to anyone. We live in phoenix, Az and will continue buying here in Farmington, NM.

Took in our 2003 Dodge Ram Diesel three (3) times with the same complaint of hard to start. First time they replaced cross tubes and said they had previously replaced on this truck and had over torqued the tubes so there was no charge. One week later back with same problem and check engine light on. Checked out truck said they found nothing wrong. Third time I returned 2 weeks after 2nd visit. This time they discovered that I needed all new injectors and cross tubes at a cost of $4500 and they would not warranty because they said a fuel sample showed water in the fuel. PLEASE!!
I took to another shop they replaced the lift pump because my truck was not getting any fuel to the injectors and $600 later I was back on the road.

Went to the dealer to purchase a Jeep liberty. Started out good but by the time I left he was calling me a liar. Had a trade that I knew was not worth much and told them I may just keep it if they couldn't give me what I needed. He said he couldn't even sale this type of vehicle to the Indians. I told him I had a friend that offered me more and he said he would tell his friends anything to make a deal also. These are the people that give car salesman a bad name. I will not go back to this dealership again. I will buy a Liberty but not from them.

My power steering quit. Could not steer and had it hauled to Advantage dodge. they kept my truck almost 2 weeks and charged me 980some dollars for almost 7hours labor plus parts. after I got home I found out to replace the power steering was 2.5 hours or so. I called the shop and argued about the cost and they discounted 2.5 hours,so I saved a little but at 79.00 an hour it still seems steep. farmington has only one dealer so we are pretty much held captive.

Services gives us the red carpet treatment. Then the finance department and services department yank the carpet from under us.

I bought my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 from them. Very pleased! I paid $140 over factory invoice and saved a good $3500 over the dealers here in Albq. Was quick and painless too. I called them up, talked to their fleet guy and had an out the door price in a matter 10 minutes. Was surprised not see more good info on them? A friend of mine here at work referred them to me. He bought a Jeep from them last year, same kind of deal #140 over factory invoice. I guess people probably don't say a whole lot when they are happy but when they are not they raise roof.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid,
I avoid Advantage Dodge in Farmington mostly due to bad experiences from their service department. Until a week ago I did not have an opinion on their sales department. My elderly neighbor went to trade in his 1999 Dodge Ram for a new Dodge Dakota. His 1999 truck is in excellent condition with less than 80,000 miles on it and is fully loaded. Advantage offered him $2000 for his truck and wouldn't budge. Luckily my neighbor told them he was old but not dumb. We got on the internet to find blue book value and a 1999 truck without the added options is $9,000. Retail was listed at $13,000. This is a blatant ripe off. Advantage takes advantage of its customers and expects us to like it. We therefore, refuse to go there.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid,
I bought my Dodge on the internet from Bossier Country in Fairfield TX because Advantage would not deal. I saved thousands over Advantage. When I had my new truck delivered to Advantage they held on to it one week after delivery to punish me for not getting it from Advantage. I had a 1995 Ram before I bought the new one & had nothing but poor service from Advantage. If you try to talk to Mr. Malloy you get the run Around.

Bought my 98 ram there the salesman would not deal, take it or leave it. I thought buy it local and you get good service, WRONG! First it took 20 weeks until I got it. When it comes to service, avoid the place. Once I had the transmission service there. I was driving it for a few days and noticed it not shifting right. I checked the fluid level and found it to be two quarts low! I also had the brake pulling problem and kept putting it in for them to fix it and they would throw part at it with no help. The last thing they did was to turn the rotors. The rotors grooved out in less than 10k miles. I took it back and complained about the grooving and the service managers told me that it was out of warranty and that they took it in the shorts enough trying to fix my brake pulling problem now I have to pay for the repair. I told him to put the wheels back on and drove it out the service bay. I went down to NAPA and bought new pad and rotors and replaced his Mopar (More Parts) parts, the funny thing it fixed my brake problem. I will NOT GO BACK THERE FOR SERVICE ANYMORE!

I was very pleased with Advantage Dodge in Farmington NM. They offer Dodge trucks for $140 over invoice with no price haggling. You tell them what options you want, they fax you an invoice with those options, you sign it and fax it back, mail a check for $500 down and they order you a truck. Very convenient.
