Sales department seems good; the woman who sold me the truck knew what she was doing. Service & parts department are another story. Slip yoke on intermediate steering shaft went bad at 2500, and they refused to honor the warranty until it either fell completely apart, or the shaft u-joints went bad. Had to buy my own and install it myself. Also, they told me that the factory had filled the Dana 80 rear differential with the wrong oil, and they had to replace it with synthetic -- not true, but by the time I found out, they'd charged me $160 for the work. Lift pump went out at 15,000 miles, and they told me it was a STAR-only part and I'd have to wait two weeks while they sent it back, diagnosed it, and waited for a new one. It's not STAR-only, and with all the lift pump problems the diesels have had, every dealer should stock multiple units. Service manager actually told me to go ahead and drive the vehicle, that failed lift pumps do not lead to failed VP44 injector pumps (a $2500 STAR-only part). Failed lift pumps are the #1 cause of injector pump failure, through scouring from lack of lubricity -- the service manager was either lying or incredibly incompetent. I had to go 250 miles to Salt Lake City to find a dealer willing to warrant the lift pump.
Can't recommend the dealer.
