RENO DODGE SUCKS!!!
I purchased an 07 charger SRT8, and love it. I also purchased an extended warranty, and 33 prepaid oil changes. I was told that both the warranty, as well as the oil change plan where good at any Dodge dealership. After I moved, I went to get an oil change, and had to pay $90 because the prepaid plan was not done through chrysler, and therefor was only valid at reno dodge. After a bout with Tom (the GM), and Dennis (Finanace Manager), and dealing with them not returning phone calls, not taking my calls, bieng transferred, and bieng hung up on, they offered to refund me for 15 oil changes ($300). I paid $600 for 33, and they wanted to give me $300 for the remaining 29. I'm not a math whiz, but those numbers dont ad up. The sales people are sleazy, the staff make hallow promises, and the customer service sucks. I have a few friends that got screwed over horribly by the dealership as well. Sales dept.,Hold on to your kids ice cream cause they'll try to grab that too! Bought two vehicles there,Got ripped for 5 g's on the last one, Then my 80 year old inlaws bought a caravan from them, drove it 3 miles home, and the salesman called them and said he could get them a better deal on a different vehicle, they switched vehicles the next day, and when we looked at the paperwork, we realized they were charged 6000 dollars depreciation on the first car. Complaints to the DMV were ignored. Stay away from Don Qwiers!

Reno Dodge does not have ANY truth in advertising…isn’t this illegal?
Reno Dodge works with all major financial institutions and local credit unions to make sure you will get approved at the best rate possible.

Sales=Good, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
I bought a car at Reno Dodge appx 6 months ago, my first brand new car. My husband and I spent half a year deciding on this purchase. When the time came, the sales staff was great, of course treated like I was about to give the dealership over $30 grand. The vehicle was everything we wanted for about a month, then the doors stopped locking, the whole vehicle shut down on my and my son in an intersection and would not start for about a full minute, the stability lights started coming on and not going off. We brought to car to Reno Dodge to look at it, and they apologized and put me in a rental that cost me money because of taxes and insurance. We got our car back in a week, I went to drive it off the lot, and the stability lights again came on. I was then put in the rental again for three weeks. So I am paying for a car I haven't driven in a month, and they can't seem to figure out the problem. I then get the vehicle back and in a week, the lights come on again, so I take it back. This should be an all day project they tell me, so while I am waiting, I am approached by a salesman who tells me I should trade in my brand new vehicle on another of the same without the problems, and it would be the same cost. When it was all said and done, I got the different car, spent taxes twice of over $5 grand, was promised our warranty money to help offset the higher payments, then they kept the money and screwed us. After all we went through with the first vehicle, they took advantage of us and lied to us, so we were kicked while we were down. I have wrote letters, spent countless phone calls, and picketed Reno Dodge, and won't stop until they make this right. Big Business shouldn't mean sticking it to the working class.
I do love the New Nitro, and feel the first car was just a glitch. The second one runs great and is fun to drive. The Reno Dodge Dealership however has some serious problems with customer service and ethics.

My entry is absolutely the one I wrote, and is 100% true and accurate. Art Coleman knows this, because I spoke with him many many times while trying to resolve this issue, and while I was picketing Reno Dodge. He is just another smooth talker that gets paid to try and make nice.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
Just to let people know that I have taken my diesel truck in for warranty work - my engine was leaking by the timing cover. So they told me they would fix the problem. About a day later, they called me to let me know that the truck was done. About $689.20 later I paid for the work. I then called Dodge to ask about my warranty coverage, since Reno would not help me. The dodge company said that every thing that I paid for was suppose to be covered under my basic warranty, so I then called Reno Dodge, and their response was that all parts are not covered. So I called Carson Dodge with the part numbers - they told me that it is covered. So I went back to complain. After feuding with the service writer - they refunded my money and I never went back. They tried to steal my money but I caught them. Carson dodge helped me and I know use them.
Do not use Reno Dodge for anything - unless you want to get ripped off***

I talked to a salesman inquiring about a 2002 3500 Diesel Quad-Cab 4x4 with 59,000 miles. The salesman was very helpful and his boss (or sales "lead") said he could get me "real close" to a $25,000 sales price. After 3.5 hours in the dealership, the sales "closer" comes in and starts his presentation. He double-talks about everything except what I want to know. He finally told me the outright price of the truck after I had to ask him three times- $35,995. Yes, no typo- $35,995. That's $5,000 over full retail price. On top of that insult, he offers $2,000 below KBB trade-in value for my Suburban (because only Dealers can see what a trade-in is worth on KBB). After I expressed my opinion about their offer, the "closer" asks if I would be interested in a new 1500 Quad-Cab. Hard to believe. Three hours later I purchased a 2001 3500 Diesel Quad-Cab 4x4 with 19,000 miles on Ebay for $25,800. I haven't picked it up yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Sales=Avoid, Service=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Talk about Bait and Switch tactics and even worse! They left me a message to come on down for a "Key Exchange Program" they were offering. "Get into a new Stratus for the same payments I'm making now", they said. So, I went down. They didn't even have the vehicle available!!! After searching their back lot, the side lot, across the street lot, etc, (even twice) there was NO CAR! After about 2 hours or so, I just kept telling them, I'm not going to waste anymore of your time, and you're not going to waste any more of my time. But NO, they had to make a deal. They offered various other cars and I kept saying NO until they offered a Durango. I laughed at them and told them there was no way they could get the payments close to mine. They said, "OH you bet"! So, I took the used Durango for a test drive, pulled back in and they gave me a thumbs up. They made a deal for only $20 more a month, and I took the vehicle home that night. In four days, they were calling saying that I needed to go back down and sign more papers. I asked why and they put me on hold. I got ahold of my other salesman later that night, and he lied to me and said it was because I got approved for a lower finance rate is why I needed to sign the additional papers. Few more days later, is when they called and said that I owed them $4400! I couldn't believe it! I kept asking for things in writing and they refused to do that! I got an attorney involved, and they even ignored him. Then two weeks later, they came to my work place and STOLE my Durango with all my possessions inside! HOW LOW!!!!!!!!!!! We asked a few simple things for them to do and they handle it this way! Finally had to get another attorney involved (a local one) and they actually responded to him. But blamed me for everything that happened! Said I was the one that gave them the incorrect trade in amount ~ which they get all that info from the credit report and from Wells Fargo. And lots of other lies! I can't believe that they would do this. I can 't believe the upper management would allow this. We reported this to Better Business Bureau and Reno Dodge even lied to them and told them the issue had been resolved two weeks or so before we actually heard anything from them! Perfect example of their "Lack of Honesty"!!!!!! Just be very CAREFUL if you deal with these people! Best to just stay away! I can't wait to go to Carson or Fallon and see how different I get treated!
