i've been treated like dirt. they won't fix the problem its been in 8 times for the same problems with the power steering transmission and bad wheeling bearing. i bought the truck with 35k and it has been nothing but problems from day one and right now trying to trade it in and that all they do is give a run around i'd never buy a tricycle from doan. they have poor service and incompetent people working for them.

I bought a brand new Kia Optima from Doan Dodge Kia. I own the car for about 2 years during that 2 years I had taken into the dealership for repairs. They never properly fixed the door seals, the fuel tank sensor was installed improperly by them, and I took it for a skipping problem in 07/03 and they stated nothing was wrong, exactly 2 months later the car died while driving home which is an hour from the dealership and we had it towed up there for the same problem. They informed me that a mouse had chewed through my spark plug wires and that it would cost me 360.00 to get it fixed. Bear in mind that I drove the car 80 miles a day 6 days a week for work. There is no way a mouse lived in my car long enough to do that damage, but it did sit on their lot for a year before we bought it. The kicker of this was that they never opened the engine cover when it was in in July. They ended up eating the bill, but had the gall to think I was going to pay the towing charge. Needless to say, I didn't. Also, while it was in for service the person working on my car spill a soda all over the tan interior and stole things from my car. I no longer own that car and am very happy with my new Pontiac Aztec. I will not buy another car from them again.

Bought a 2001 ram 1500 4X4 in June 2001. It had 24,000 miles on it. Two week after I had it I started taking it back for a shutter at around 45 mph. Well that turned into 4 trips. Finally the truck computer said that there was a trany problem after the wheels were rebalanced twice. Supposedly the torque converter solenoid was replaced once also. Finally a new torque converter was installed. Next after 3000 miles the brake rotors needed replacing and they were good enough to split the 700$ bill with me. Then I purchased the Chrysler extended coverage (bumper to bumper) but I guess the front wheel bearings are outside the bumpers and needed replacing. 700$ there. But when they did that they broke a seal. Well I returned it because of the fluid leak and they told me that it was just excess fluid in the tube and that was normal. Wiped it up and sent me on my way. Upon returning home even more fluid was coming out. When I returned to the dealership the service man said they must have broke the seal and would replace it. The kicker is he's calling to see if my extended warranty would cover their boo boo this had me livid. Needless to say it was fixed and they bit the bullet. But now the truck pulls to the right even after SEARS aligned the front end. Now my headlights have water in them. My next stop will be somewhere else. Would NOT recommend the service there.

The incompetence of the Service department converted me from a big fan of American Automobiles to a loyal buyer of Honda's and Toyotas. It was one problem after another. Incomplete repairs, incorrect repairs, 2-3 visits for the same problem multiple times. Dumped the car after 3 years of problems. I wouldn't know if the Toyota service is any better or worse because after almost 8 years, I've yet to be to one.

Had a problem with the alignment of the hood and the driver side door. Took it back to the salesman, got the manager involved and was asked if the car drove fine. I replied yes it does drive fine, but then his reply was then there is nothing wrong with the car. When I asked the manager if he would like his new car to look like this, his reply was I would not fix nothing. To make a long story short I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. I recommend that anybody that is looking for a vehicle stay away from these lying, deceiving people at Doan Dodge. After a conversation with Chrysler I was instructed to take the vehicle to Cortese Dodge where they were very helpful and did everything they could to take care of my problem.

Service dept. is incapable of repairing a vehicle correctly the first time it is brought in .I have a Dakota and have taken it there for a door hinge that was frozen. They repaired it by spraying lube on it. After a couple of months the lube was gone and the hinge would freeze up. After my warranty was up they said that they had to replace the hinge and it would cost 250 dollars. I asked them about the three other times (I had all the receipts to show them) they fixed the hinges and they said that those were TEMPORARY repairs. I called Chrysler and they had DOAN fix them correctly without any cost to me. This is supposed to be a FIVE-STAR service shop. I DON'T THINK SO.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
I bought my first car at Doan Dodge. It was a brand new 1993 Intrepid. I had numerous problems and each time the service department at Doan managed to make things worse. Brought it in for electrical problem with under 1000 miles, service left lights on overnight and killed battery brought it in for air conditioning work and first they replaced the condenser because the evaporator was covered under a recall notice. When it still leaked they replaced the evaporator. It cost me 500 or so and the next week I had an inch of water on my floor because they failed to hook up the rubber tubes correctly. They refused to clean out the water. Transmission computer went at 24,000 miles and required 5 visits to various service departments to diagnose. My experience was so bad that I will never own another Chrysler for the rest of my life and I'm hesitant to buy any American Car. Since I traded the P.O.S. in, I've bought a Toyota Camry for me and a Honda Civic for my wife. Neither has been in the shop yet and they have 80k and 30k respectively. We're buying a minivan in the next few weeks and would rather be on a waiting list for Honda than get a "great deal" on a Dodge.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know / No Experience
