Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
On November 2,2003 my family and I noticed a great ad in the Sunday paper concerning
a new 2004 dodge ram 1500. We decided to go check it out. We arrived at the
dealership around 3:00pm we looked around the lot for about 20 minutes before
I decided to go inside the show room to see if they were open and to get a salesperson.
I finally found someone by the name of Willie Yuhas. I then introduced him to
my father he proceeded to ask him what he was interested in then Willie threw
my father off to some woman named Sunday Tenelle who I must say has no sense
of humor. We then gave Sunday the newspaper ad and she proceeded to show us
a vehicle that wasn't the one in the ad. When I mentioned that I thought it
wasn't the right vehicle she said well it's the same stock number. She showed
us a basic dodge ram truck that had nothing in it which was not what we saw
in the paper. Then we looked at another Dodge Ram truck and it was fully loaded
and looked just like the one in the paper, we then went back to the showroom
to inquire the price. She gave the stock number to her friend Willie and he
said oh yea that's the truck I added the cap and the running boards to. I then
said to him there aren't any running boards or a cap on that truck and he said
it should be, so Sunday and my father went back to look again, and there was
a sticker on it that said it had been added but it wasn't there. They came back
Sunday says there is a sticker, but the accessories weren't there. So then Willie
gives us a price quote of $30,340 dollars which was the MSRP price for the screw
up in the newspaper which he admitted too and he said the price included the
cap and running boards. The deal was set and my parents would return on Monday
and Willie said he would see them then. My parents went back to the dealership
because Sunday called them to see when they would be coming. To make a long
story short Willie wasn't there and the deal that they made was some how voided.
He denied ever saying the truck included a cap and running boards. Sunday looked
at our trade in car and said the book value was $9,000 for a 2000 Olds Bravada
with only 35,000 miles and he had to leave a $500.00 deposit, but after he found
out the deal wasn't what it was suppose to be he asked for his money back and
left. I then called to speak to someone over Willie and he said there wasn't
anyone to speak to. He was the manager he didn't have a district manager. I
will say that was my first visit to Yonkers Dodge and my last.
