I had called about a recent sale that was going on (push, pull, or drag $4,000
min trade on a used vehicle) I had talked to a dealer letting them know about
the pay off value on my car and my financial/credit problems. They said O.K.,
we will give you the $4,000 toward a car and pay off existing loan. When I got
there, they wouldn't let me look at a used van, took me on a 5 minute test drive
on a new van, had was trying to force me into signing paperwork right there
on the spot. The deal about paying off my existing loan was farce. I was going
to have to roll my negative equity into this payment and it was an outrageous
monthly payment. I will never deal with a Spitzer dealership again. I'm not
the only one in my family that has had problems with a Spitzer dealership. Be
well aware of what you are getting yourself into!

Sales was ok, got the deal I wanted after 6 hr of bargaining. To much time spent
there. Service did the job well under warranty, but informed me I need the brake
& rotors replaced. no under warranty $300.00 16000 miles unreal. My Fords
didn't anything until I had over 50k on them. No more Dodge/Chryslers for me.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
This dealership is the worst ever! Their service dept. stinks! If you didn't
buy your vehicle there, you are not their priority. You get a lot of "can
not duplicate" the problems that you have. They do not welcome you after
warranty has run out and there are still problems they don't want to deal with
now out of warranty. They tell you that sound or problem is "normal"
just to pull the wool over your eyes. I have had several problems and issues
that they will not and can not solve. Their service dept. doesn't have the knowledge
that it should. The service advisor (Don) is cocky and thinks he knows, but
he doesn't. He is awful to deal with and he doesn't tell the truth. Spitzer
Management was contacted by phone, they never returned any of the phone calls.
They are just interested in selling, not fixing. They do not treat customers
like they should be treated. Would not recommend Spitzer to buy or to service!!!!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
After spending five and one half hours going through the negotiating process,
they finally agreed to sell me the car with the down-payment and monthly car
payment I wanted. I then went to the finance dept., where I was informed that
there was no way they could finance this car for that low of payments. They
then tried to get me to put more down or increase my payment. When I told them
I had an agreement with the salesman, the general manager got involved. He put
on a show for me and went to the sales desk with my salesman and yelled loud
enough for the entire place to hear "How did we f**k up this deal." He then
came back to me and said that the sales manager that agreed to my terms thought
I was financing for 66 months and not 60 as my signed agreement stated. I showed
him that it clearly said that it said 60 months in several locations on the
sales agreement I had signed. He then asked me to "split" the difference with
him. I was infuriated, and after another hour of getting quite vocal was finally
given an acceptable deal. (Although still higher than the original terms agreed
to) Major BAIT and SWITCH!!! and AGGRAVATION!!!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
After hours of negotiating and coming to an agreed upon monthly payment, I left
a satisfied customer. To my dismay less than a week later the finance department
calls and tells me they made a mistake and I either have to cut a check for
the remaining balance of my trade-in or roll it into my monthly payments because
THEY FORGOT to enter it in the computer when handling my finance paperwork.
Now, they have sold my car, and yet are telling I have to pay more than what
I've already signed for, that I also cannot afford... The finance associate
that called me flat out lied about statements that another person did not make
involving paperwork he supposedly already sent in. Major Bait and Switch!!!
