This dealership has integrity, that's something others need to learn. The owner
is honest and straight with you, there is no BS with the salesmen, I have bought
from them all. The service manager wears a tie, and knows what he is doing,
when they say something will be fixed, it is fixed.
Parts department is excellent. I do my homework before I even think about buying,
and these guys usually get me a better deal than I expected. They want your
repeat business and you can tell. I dread ever needing to go to another dealership...and
I'm a Chevy guy! The bottom line is this is a small dealership that performs
like a big one should, and probably outsells some twice their size due to their
professionalism and integrity. Drive a 100 miles to buy from them...you won't
be sorry.
The Ram I bought, but do not own now, was a good truck. Typical Dodge transmission
and the dealer put a Chrysler rebuild in it before I bought...at the same price
I was quoted before it went out on the
2nd test drive...

Just a great small town dealership that really, honestly, sincerely cares that
you are happy with any service you get from them. Purchased 2 Cherokees and
a Plymouth Minivan from them. Bought my Durango online after consulting with
them, nice to have a dealer say "that's a good deal jump on it, we'll inspect
it for you, no charge" They found nothing wrong... now that is somebody
you can trust.
I'll always buy my cars from the boys down at Gus' place

I have a 96 Dodge Caravan with 171,850 miles on it which was purchased from,
and serviced by, Whiteside Dodge. This vehicle burns NO oil, nor remotely "performs"
like a vehicle with this type of mileage. The service manager is very knowledgeable,
friendly and trustworthy. His motto is "if it's not broke, don't fix it".
For example, I brought in my van at approximately 130,000 miles for an air conditioning
problem. The service manager, and service technicians, told me the compressor
was going out, but I might as well wait until it actually goes before replacing
it - and they didn't charge me a dime to inspect it the vehicle. I got approximately
another year out of the air conditioning system before it went completely. Another
incident was with my brakes, which were nearly shot. The service manager called
me to tell me that I could save over $200 if my husband did the brake job vs.
their service shop completing the work. So they "fixed" the brakes
enough to get me home, and the husband completed the work at a fraction of the
cost. A more recent event was that the air conditioning system was cooling.
The service manager, my "best friend", not only told me how to recharge
it myself, but also wrote down the exact parts and instructions. It was a cinch!!
Do I recommend these guys - ABSOLUTELY!!!! Two more things you should know -
our bank screwed up the financing agreement and never issued a title to us for
this van. Had it not been for the owner of Whiteside Dodge, I most likely would
never have received the title - and he delivered it himself!!!
I highly recommend this dealer and dealership. If you have any questions, comments
or concerns, just send them to me and I will answer. You know your "vision"
of the dealership - well you've found it. E-mail me, and I can tell you even
more positive things about them. No, they don't pay me - I pay them! I have
two other Dodge vehicles and I ONLY TRUST them to service them. One was purchased
through this dealer in 2001 and has never needed anything other than usual maintenance
(oil change, etc.), the other was purchased through my husband's bank.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Fair,
Sales was very good to me. They at least made me feel like I got a good deal,
and I was very comfortable as a buyer. As a mechanic myself, I am VERY disappointed
in the quality of the work done. (Had an engine rebuilt and there is not a seal
on it that does not leak) The service MGR was very helpful with some warranty
situations and his help is why I didn't rate poor. They are nice people and
make it worth going to. Service means well, but alas I have an engine with 50000
miles that leaks oil like a 78 gremlin with 300000 miles.....
