I have just recently accepted a position in management at Fenton Motors of Stillwater and was very concerned to see negative comments concerning our dealership. I can assure the few people that have reported a less then perfect experience that Mr. Fenton places an extremely high value on satisfied customers in both the sales and service departments. If anyone feels that their service or sales experience has been less than satisfactory then I invite you to contact me personally. To those that have given us high marks you have our thanks as well as our pledge to continue to give the best experience possible with each visit to Fenton Motors of Stillwater.

Dealership service department did not service my vehicle like I had requested. They did some things but did not fulfil all of the requests and gave bad information in which now I have a vehicle with a transmission that has gone out. They did not service the transmission like
requested, just informed me that I needed a new one. I was also told that just general maintenance and filling the fluid in the (standard) transmission would do no good (big lie). They also failed to perform the recalls that were open on my vehicle even after I asked them to do so, which is something I shouldn't have had to ask to be done. So, now that they didn't fill the fluid in the transmission I have no vehicle.

Bought a vehicle from this dealership and my experience couldn't have been better. They treated me honestly and fairly and I got a much better deal that anywhere else I had looked. Service dept is number one. Will definetly recommend and do business with them again.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
Let me tell you my story....My husband and I have been looking for a used diesel truck.We hadn't been able to find anything since we live in such a small area. So we ventured out of town, about a 45 minute drive one way, to Stillwater. We found a truck that we both really liked at Fenton's of Stillwater, but they were already closed for the night and that was on a Saturday, so the following Monday I called about the truck, but they couldn't tell me the price, they said just come and see if you like it and we can talk about the price, so my husband and I decided to rush over there after work. When we got there it had rained a little bit that day and they had the truck parked out on the grass, and when the sales man and my husband took off to test drive it (the sales man was driving first) they got it stuck in the mud and said they didn't have anything to pull it out with.
And they agreed to have it pulled out the next day so we could come back and drive it. Well the next day came and we rushed over there after work again, and drove the truck, We fell in love with it, they had told us Monday night that the price was about 20,000.00 and then the next night they were asking 23,988.00. WHICH is a four thousand dollar increase!!!! Which in return we talked them down to 21,488.00 Great deal we thought, and asked them how much we had to have down, they told us if we had $2000.00 down then we could get our payments at 448.56/mo with them financing it through their dealership, until we pulled our credit, then our credit wasn't good enough so we had to have a a co-signer, which at the time didn't have and told them since it was closing time by then that we would have to ask a few people but would let them know. Well the next day my husband asked his boss, which by the way we both work for because he owns his own company, and has at least 45 employees.
So we knew then that we had a new truck due to business issues he was not able to make it to the dealership until Saturday, so I then called the sales man the we had been dealing with and told him the situation and he agreed it was no problem, because the truck hadn't even attracted anyone else's attention. So Saturday rolls around, and we along with our co-signer go to look at the truck, reminding you this is our third trip to the dealership. And everything had already changed , they informed us that we never had the price down to 21,488.00, that the lowest we could go was 21,988.00 which is still another 500.00 difference.So we were upset. We finally agreed to the price because they had agreed to fix a seal that was leaking first. Ok price agreed!! Now we got to the down payment, which they had told us before that we could put $2000.00 down (which we had brought in cash with us) and take the truck with the payments being where we had wanted them. Then Today they tell us that the least they can take down on this truck was $3500, and that they couldn't get the payments any lower then $667.23 a month WHOA that is crazy!! So needless to say we got pissed and left, after the co-signer cussed about everyone in their for doing what they had done to us. Sorry Fenton's you lost a great customer!!!

I was very pleased with Fentons, they were very professional and at the same time made me feel comfortable. I went there basically knowing what I wanted/needed, and they were able to make it happen. Bottom line, I got a great deal. The sales representative, finance rep. and management were all wonderful and very friendly. I was very pleased!!

I headed to Fenton Motors with a pretty impossible situation. I cannot comment on parts or service because in the end, I was not able to purchase a vehicle. I went in upside down on my current vehicle. Not to mention, mechanical issues. Even though the folks at Fenton knew the challenges they faced, they worked nonstop for me for 3 days! The sales associate was a pleasure to deal with and always gave me an honest, straight answer. He was very professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. At no point did I feel like I was being "schmoozed"! I will visit this dealership again when I am in a better situation on my trade in.

I was surfing some dodge info and came across the bad comments about Fenton of Stillwater. Like the other reader I was surprised to see the negative feedback. I purchased a new Ram Reg cab sport Hemi. I shopped 5 dealers before checking with the folks at Fenton. No one could find the truck I wanted but them. They stepped up, got the perfect truck and were way cheaper than the other dealers. I have sent several of my friends there and they are just as happy. The negative comments make me wonder if these folks bought from the previous owners! Nice Nice local folks!

I have visited the local Dodge dealer three times. The first time was to look at a used truck. The vulture/salesman comes out to greet me. We talk about the truck, I ask for a price, He said he wasn't allowed to say. I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't. He informs me that they give no prices unless you come inside (so they know you are serious.) Remember, this was a used truck. I said shove it! I went across the street and bought 2 NEW Fords. The parts department, they have no access to any classic Dodges. My '72 W200 gets it's consumption of parts elsewhere. Fenton refuses to update there system to offer service to to somebody like me; who refuses to let the old Mopars die. How much pride can you have in your product line when you refuse to service the ancestors. A generation of mechanics will never peer under the hood of an old Mopar musclecar at Fenton's. They wouldn't have access to the parts cataloging system. No wonder Dodge is going broke. Daimler should probably just go ahead and kill it. Neons suck, Intrepids suck, P/T Cruisers suck, and the front ends on Dodge pickups have been living on a diet of ball-joint replacements for too long. Kill it.

Finance dept. was very unhelpful. I felt as if they weren't taking me seriously because I was female. I special ordered a vehicle before they came onto the lots, I was promised to have possession of the vehicle by a certain date ~ delivery was over 2 weeks late.
My truck was "steaming" out of the air vents, when I took it in they said "they all do that". (they do??) Took it back 3 times before the problem was diagnosed. Was told it would take 3 days to get the part, took over a month.
I will NOT buy another vehicle here and have been encouraging others to shop elsewhere. I knew I should've gone to Mark Roberts of Bartlesville to start with! THEY were helpful and polite!

I am really surprised to see the comments of those other customers. I dealt with several managers and salesmen, which were all friendly and helpful. They beat every other price that I had gotten in OKC. I bought a truck there and am sending the rest of my family there as well. I've never been more satisfied with an auto dealership. I will continue to purchase the rest of my vehicles at Fentons. When I took my truck in for service, I was satisfied 110% with the service staff.

Tried to buy new car there. Salesman was nice, management stinks, and do not tell the truth. Made deal, the deal fell thru and they still 4 months later have our large downpayment. We constantly get lies told to us. Beware of this deal. They can not stay in business long cheating folks, especially hometown folks!!!

Wouldn't lower the price, communication between the manager, finance dept, and sales man is very poor. Took 2 hours to run a simple credit check. Couldn't give a simple monthly price quote. Management and finance department were rude and un professional.
