I have purchased two trucks at Ferguson Dodge in Norman, OK within 6 months
of each other. The first one that my wife and I bought was a 2001 Dakota, which
we were lead to believe we had to take a hit on because it was a lease vehicle.
I really didn't realize until we went to trade in the 1st truck how much we
had been “taken for”. After trying to make a deal on a 2003 Dakota
at Ferguson and the salesman (the same one that sold us both of our trucks)
informed us we were “upside down on the 1st one because we had been given
a bad deal (guess he had forgotten he was the one that sold it to us). We let
him go ahead and give us a quote on another vehicle, but he told so many stories
that he couldn’t even keep straight what he had already told us. We decided
to leave and go to another dealership because of his actions. After visiting
with a salesman at another dealership and finding a vehicle that had more options
than the one at Ferguson we offered what we thought was a fair price and made
the deal.
As far as we are concerned Ferguson Dodge salesmen truly represent the old adage
of what car salesmen are all about.
I’ve also had several problems with my truck and the service department
wasn’t much better than the sales department.
My recommendation would be NOT TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM FERGUSON DODGE unless
you have money to burn! Don’t get taken by these clowns!
