WARNING!!!!DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!! They act all wonderful and caring
but they are crooks! Because my husband didn't have a credit history and we
were trying to get his name on the car, it took them 4 DAYS to try and get an
approval, never mind that, they tried to SCAM us by trying to get us approved
for $10,000.00 ABOVE the price of the car. When we called them on it they folded
and made up excuses after excuses. We finally decided to just pay cash and get
the hell out of there. We had already put a deposit down and that wouldn't have
been refunded if we left. They then claimed that we LIED on our application,
which we didn't. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. NEVER GO THERE!!!

Purchased a used 2000 Jeep Laredo at this dealership in 2003, and just found
out now that this vehicle was a daily rental and was involved in an accident
in November 2002. Which was never disclosed to myself at the time of purchase.
When my friend went in to discuss this with them on behalf of myself as I am
a single mother with three kids and always working. He got told to get the F--k
out of my dealership by Wayne Conner the new dealer principle. Furthermore I
tried to talk with these people previously and they told me the same thing basically
on the telephone.

I have just recently purchased my first vehicle. And yes, I bought it at the
Columbo location. I had been shopping around for a few months, and nothing had
jumped out at me, but if it had, the salesmen scared me away. On a whim I decided
to stop by Columbo. I fell in love with my car, but I knew I was making my decision
based on the physical features alone. There were a few modifications I wanted
for my first car, but I wasn't completely sure how to go about it. Then with
my luck, a very charming salesman by the name of Jonthan Duck, approached me.
I told him what I was looking for, and informed him that there were a few extras
I wanted to enquire about. We walked around the dealership, he showed me a few
of my other options, considering my limited price range. He explained the pros
and cons of every car on the lot. He was completely honest with me about the
highs and the lows of every car. Without me saying a word about the car I had
initially been interested in he led me back to the very same vehicle and said
"This is the car for you." Yes yes it was. However, I still wanted
to know about the extra features, and whether or not they were affordable. I
have never seen a salesman jump through hoops, the way Jon did. He also, knocked
my monthly payment, down to a price so low that I would have never even suggested.
So I walked away with an awesome car, with all of the modifications I wanted,
paying such a great price, that you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I am
very happy with my experience at Columbo and it is all thanks to Mr. Duck. I
would recommend him to anyone in the car buying market. Salesmen have a bad
wrap, Jonthan proved that stereo-type to be quite the opposite. I will be doing
business with him again. And you would be stupid not to.
Thank you Jon. I am so happy with my purchase, best wishes!!!!!!!

Had a routine oil change done on a 99 Concorde. After 1.5hrs of waiting the
service rep asked me how I was getting home, since my vehicle was not driveable.
I asked him why, and he told me the oil drain plug was stripped! The car has
less that 90K and all service had been done at this dealer. A new oil pan was
needed, and it would take a day. After I cooled down, he explained to me that
the threads had failed because the pan is made out of aluminum, and the drain
plug is made out of steel. Cost for repair was going to be about $350, and I
had an extended warranty that was supposed to cover the oil pan. This is clearly
a design defect or a tech over tightening the plug. The service rep also was
nice enough to call a Taxi, but would not cover the cost!!!!!!!!!!!! ($10) Columbo
said that this repair would not be covered by the warranty, because it was wear
and tear (at less than 90K?????) Eventually, after several calls to the service
manager, they agreed to cover the cost of the parts and labor.
This is not the first bad experience with this dealer, so I would suggest staying
clear of them for service.

I took my 1997 van for a problem of oil leak. They told me it need to replace
Rear rocker cover gasket. When I took my van after fixing, I took it to My Mechanic
and He told me they never replace the gasket. After contacting them they admit
that yes they did not replace rear gasket but they did the front one, where
there were never leak. On same visit they told me to replace Tensioner which
is jammed. This is also not correct. My Tensioner and belt is very fine as per
Other Mechanic.

Had new truck in for service, got truck home and washed it, found large scratch
on drivers door and my new STAINLESS STEEL running boards were dented from the
hoist. Called dealer, truck has left the property so the damage could have happened
anywhere. I drove straight home from the dealer!
Why can't they fix things the first time instead of the 3rd or 4th visit? Stop
relying on the stupid little handheld gadgets to tell you what's wrong and go
back to school and learn troubleshooting. Two mechanics drove my truck and told
me there was nothing wrong with it and the vibration was in my head. I crawled
under my truck and found a broken u-joint! P.S. new u-joint blown after 25 miles!
This is not a work vehicle!!
