Just wanted to let people know that at Round up city dodge we had a great experience,
Darwin Ridley was our sales man. Darwin stayed late so that we could test drive
a dodge durango then he and ron ran the numbers and gave us a great price that
we could afford! We came back the next day and bought the durango and we are
very happy with the durango and also with our experience at round up city dodge.
Thanks Guys

Sales=Poor, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
In the past four years my wife and I have purchased seven vehicles from this
dealership and thought that we were being treated very good, but on are most
recent purchase we bought a 1999 Dodge Durango. After only having it for 5 months
we noticed that the passenger window wasn't always working. So I took the Durango
in to be looked at and fixed, but when I returned 6 hours latter nothing was
done except for an inspection of the whole vehicle which had a list of repair
that totaled over $700.00 in repairs. I was glad that I had purchased a service
contact that covered most of the work then I got to thinking why in 5 months
does this vehicle need all this work, I mean did they inspect this vehicle when
it was traded in, or was the service department trying to fix stuff that wasn't
really wrong with it. So I decided to let them do the work on the following
week. When I drop the Durango off at the shop they told me that it would be
done the next day, and I had specifically told them to only do the work that
was covered on the service contract. So the next day I go to pickup the Durango
they weren't even half way done with the repairs, the mechanic told me that
the service manager wanted him to do work on another vehicle, so it seems to
me that I got put on the back burner and that my vehicle wasn't that important.
So I left a little discouraged, the following day I went back to the dealership
and waited till 5:20 10 min. before closing for them to finally finish my vehicle.
After a week goes by I get a call from the service department and there telling
me that I have a balance on some of the work the did, so I went to talk to the
service manager about this balance on work they did that I specifically asked
them not to do and know they don't want to take any responsibility for do unauthorized
work on my vehicle. They never had me sign any paper work saying to go ahead
and do the work, but they still expect me to pay the balance. Know here is the
worst part of the whole deal my window never got fixed after them having my
vehicle for almost 3 full day. I just don't understand I would've thought that
was going to be the first thing that they would've fix so need less to say I
don't recommend taking your vehicle to that service department unless you like
the feeling of being SCREWED OVER.
If you want a good deal on a new vehicle they do have good prices, but I wouldn't
trade anything in there because they will screw you over and if you want used
go somewhere else and be sure to get a full history on the work that has been
done, and also take it to someone else to inspect the vehicle for any repairs
needed. On a last note I wouldn't let their service touch my vehicle ever again.
