When I purchased the vehicle, I asked the salesperson to contact only 3 banks for financing. I wasn't that desperate to purchase the vehicle, and I know that too many inquiries on your credit report do not look good. The salesman went, without my permission, and contacted approximately 8 different finance companies. I was turned down by all at first because of a blemish on my credit report. I did eventually purchase the vehicle from them, but I was very disappointed that the salesperson went without my permission to obtain financing. It shows me that they are more desperate for the sale than I was to buy the vehicle.
