Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I turned my car into the dealership to get serviced around May 7th. When I was
contacted to pick it up, I spoke with a woman named Vonda. She was incredibly
helpful and polite and made the experience pleasant. When I got the car back,
I noticed a bunch of bolts rolling around the floor of the drivers side. I went
back and asked if they forgot to put the car back together and Vonda apologized,
then introduced me to the service manager. He stated he was not aware of why
there were bolts rolling around my floor and stated he was "blind sided"
with what happened. Vonda actually took control. My carpet is ruined with grease
and the protective paper was wedged under the seat. When I asked him if he wanted
the paper back and he said no, but made no effort to clean up the mess. Again,
Vonda took care of it. After I left the dealership, I noticed that my coolant
was low and I went to Pepboys to fill it. The mechanics helped me and tried
to clean my carpet at no charge. I left there and my car stalled on the road.
The pepboys manager stopped and noticed that the air intake hoses were not even
attached to the engine. Here's where this gets interesting.
On the highway going home, I down shifted to pass a car and my car redlined
and jumped to 110mph-I have a twin turbo stealth- and I almost crashed. I pulled
over, restarted the car and drove toward home. The car redlined again a few
miles later when I down shifted and jumped back to 110mph. I almost crashed
again weaving in and out of traffic. The friend I was with happened to be a
mechanic in the Army and we noticed that a piece of rubber was stuck in the
air intake and holding the throttle open. I was contacted by a representative
from Big 'O' Dodge a few days later to rate the service and my experience. I
let her know what happened and she said she would "relay the matter to
her boss." Apparently she didn't. I would never recommend this business
to anyone especially aft! er the call I got to rate the service. If they really
cared, they would have attempted to rectify the experience that could have cost
my life.
Generally, word of mouth is a powerful tool used in business. People look for
reliable places and they talk about which ones to give their business to.

I would like to commend June Wilson of the service staff. She listens to all
I say and does not have a condescending attitude when I mention how my car is
acting. I have had so many superior, unbelieving looks from service people with
some of my other cars. I even called her from Illinois when the Dodge dealer
there was giving me incorrect information. She helped me then. June has gone
out of her way to be helpful and friendly. I feel that she will always do everything
she can to make sure my car is properly serviced and taken care of.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, bought there=Yes,scv_there=Yes,
I contacted the Internet sales manager and detailed what I wanted. I'd already
been to the Dodge web site and "built" my dream truck online, so I knew the
MSRP (28,775). He emailed and said he would sell me a truck like that for 23,845.
When I visited the next week he had to "dealer locate" one similar to it. This
truck had every thing I had specified except foglights and it had the towing
package, security group, and 4 wheel antilock brakes (about 1500 dollars worth
of options). He still sold it to me for the same price and added the foglights
at the dealership for half price. There were no dealer prep fees, no dealer
locate fees, only added taxes and tags. I have since had two free oil changes
(in return for a positive survey). My experience has been positive in every
respect, and I am going to visit them again to buy a Hemi truck for my wife.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Poor,
Sept 02 Was quoted price and 0% loan for 60 mos. Stopped back to tell salesman
I was returning in aprox 2-3 weeks to order truck. Specifically asked if 0%
and finance papers were valid. Was told yes. Called 10-22-02 to say I was coming
in to order truck to have paper work ready. Arrived in p.m. Salesman had misplaced
or lost paperwork. Truck Mgr then said that there was never 0% for 60 mos. He
said maybe 0% for 36 mos. Then he said no, it never was offered, his salesman
must have been mistaken! All this time, salesman (using the term loosely), just
sat there, saying nothing and looking very strange. When I asked a simple question
(what axle differences between 2500/3500), trk mgr took me on a tour of shop.
He asked three different workers-yep, three different answers. The answer was
found in an employees tech notebook that my salesman and trk mgr had no knowledge
of. When trk mgr tried to get me to buy, "what would it take?" I told him to
call me when he "! found my paperwork and 0% offer". Switchboard operator was
also very rude and short with me. Do you have any idea how much negative publicity
they just bought?

They told me I could transfer my tag, but then I get a bill for a new tag and
the county is wanting over $600 in taxes. I'm not the only one this has happened
to.
