I have bought 5 vehicle from this dealership and I think that Lake Keowee C-D
is the best place to buy a vehicle. They will always go the extra mile to make
sure you are treated right the first time! My salesman, Joe Landingham, is the
very best at what he does. He will always make sure you are getting the best
deal possible!!!

I purchased both a new Dodge Ram Quad Cab Hemi pickup, and a Dodge Caravan on
Labor day 2004. The DVD player in the van never worked correctly, and both sales
and service have been horrendous - to the point of ridiculous. As of today,
over a year after purchase, the DVD player still doesn't work right - after
several service trips, different players (every one the wrong part - after being
assured they "finally have the right part this time!"), and today
the same thing happened. They don't return phone calls when promised. I've been
lied to by them. I wouldn't want my enemies to buy from Lake Keowee Dodge.

I was looking for a specific car and Jerry and Adarius went out of their way
to find it for me. Once the car was found, we handled all the paperwork over
the phone and via fax for I was having to come from Illinois and drive the car
back. When I arrived at the dealership, Adarius had all the paperwork ready
for signature and the car gassed up and ready to go. I was in and out of the
dealership in less than 2 hours. Thank you Jerry and Adarius for all your hard
work!

I bought my 2003 Dodge Neon in August 2003 from Lake Keowee. I had bad credit.
We decided to put the car in my aunt's name who is disabled and cannot work!
They lied on the application saying she brought home more than she actually
did. I know this for a fact b/c my sister's ex-husband was the manager and he
told them to do it that way. It was dishonest and if they lied about that, what
else are they lying about...??

Buyer beware "John Whitsel" needed to be escorted off the premises
by the police, and continuously keeps coming back for free car washes when ever
he feels like it (for the record he didn't buy the vehicle)...so buyer beware
of what people say about auto dealerships. Double standards (John boy) has in
life aren't what we promote in the real world. Thank You and Don't Make A Mistake
Shop The Lake....Jerry Janninck and for the record the vehicle we brought in
for the Whitsel's was sold long ago. Thank You for your business Mr & Mrs.

Bad deal with Jerry the General Manager; Will make the deal and then add money
to it in the loan papers. Watch out for him, Jerry is a crook and states that
the owner only fronts the money, he does all the ownership business. Do not
buy here if you want the best deal because you think you are getting it and
they change the papers. Owner is Walter Medina and is amazingly absent when
a problem arises. The car they brought for me from Columbia is still sitting
at the dealership because of the lies.

The truck I bought was taken right off the lot. The dealership had to order
some aftermarket MOPAR accessories to install as agreed upon when I purchased
the vehicle. I returned the vehicle to have them installed and have the truck
cleaned up. When I finally got the truck back, it WAS NOT clean (there was mud
on the carpet) AND the bug guard that was on the truck was missing). I had to
wait for them to "re-vacuum" the carpet. The truck was still dirty
(like it had been sent through a bad carwash.

My experience was awful. Only 3 months after purchasing the car did the engine
need to be replaced. It took almost 2 weeks to get my car back. No calls were
ever made to keep me updated on what was going on with my car. It was really
bad. I had to call constantly to find out what was really going on. Not only
was the service a problem, but these guys had the audacity to lie on the application
for a car loan by saying that my wife was actually working. We figured this
out when the bank trying to finance our car called wanting to know why we had
given a bogus work number. It has been an awful experience that I do not ever
want to go through again. Beware!!!!

I viewed several dealers' inventory online, and emailed 3 in my area with the
following conditions:
1) I wanted an out-the-door quote (each dealer had a specific truck I would
consider), complete with all internal and external costs, including taxes and
a new tag.
2) If there were any undisclosed costs I would walk out.
All three responded by the next day. I made plans to visit on the weekend, and
contacted all three to say I would call by cell when I was actually on the way
to their respective dealerships. The internet salesman (Darrell) was waiting
for me as I drove up. After a trial drive in a Ram quad cab, we went to his
office. After some discussion, he brought in the owner and he reduced the price
a bit and agreed to install a factory bedliner at his cost. By the time we were
done, after all rebates were figured, I bought that truck for over 6 grand off
list. Darrell was polite and low-key through-out the entire process, as was
the dealership owner during final discussions. Free oil changes and washes for
a year, too. Don't know what their service department is like, but I would consider
buying from these folks again. Just make sure your salesman is there when you
go back to pay for your vehicle: when I showed up to pay for mine, nobody seemed
to know what to do with me (Darrell was off that day). There was some confusion
about the reduced price on the bedliner; however, Darrell took care of that
the next day.
