First thing my truck had 5.000 mile's I took it in to get it checked it had a bad shimmy, the had to replace both rear axle's had to be replaced. Second, the motor started to knock,they told me that all the new ones would knock when you first started the engine, so my wife and i went to the dealer that evening a tried a new one right on the lot the engine was quite. Then we took the new truck to the service dept, and parked it right next to mine and left it there all night, the next morning we met at the dealership at 8:00 A.M. We met with the service tech.and his supervisor. Started both trucks mine knocked the other didn't. They kept it for another week,they said they would put in a new motor, but they called me one evening and said it was the timing chain, I don't much about engines but i know that wasn't right. With a truck with just 5.000 miles they should have give me a new one, then I talked with the sales department about trading for a new one, I was willing to pay the difference, he came back with an offer, he offered me $10.000 trade for my truck. THAT WAS JUST INSULTING.
I paid $22.000 for a Dodge Dakota and they offered me $10.000 on trade with 6.000 miles. And my wife and I have bought 3 new Jeeps from the same dealership, I think that offer was a slap in the face.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I was in the dealership for service and decided that I would venture out onto the lot to see about trading my 1997 Caravan. I had just moved into town from Michigan and I heard the radio commercial about them being a "community leader" and decided to try them for service. I should have realized something was horribly wrong when I saw cardboard cutouts of monsters in their showroom. It would have been understandable if it was Halloween, but this was February. The first person that I encountered on the lot was their "general sales manager" or as i call him Big Jim the Swindler. He would never look me in the eyes and was constantly playing with the change in his pocket as if nervous. I should've turned around as I felt most uncomfortable, but I didn't. He found a saleslady for me who at first appearance seemed to be very polite and caring. We selected a truck that seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It all went downhill as we began our test drive. This young lady was in her late 20's and moderately attractive. But as a man nearly twice her age, you can imagine my discomfort when she began making strong sexual advances which hinged on my purchase of a vehicle. I had never actually heard of a real case of reverse sexual harassment until I experienced it. I told her I was happily married, which she ignored and continued talking to me about how I could get the best deal. When we pulled back into the dealership, I told her I wanted to talk to another salesman. I was introduced to a gentleman named Jason. He seemed very nice and I had my van appraised against a new truck. We haggled a little and settled on what I thought was a great deal until Jason brought a bill of sale for me to sign. As a fairly well educated man, I balked when I saw a bottom line $3500 more than what I agreed on. I will never buy there again.

Sales=Good, Service=Poor, Parts=Excellent, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
We bought our 2003 Dodge 3500 from this dealer. We have always took it to this dealer for service. As of 10/15/2004 we have had it in for the same problem 6 different times. The problem has not been resolved and the service manager even told us to take it to bobby edwards, which is a Ford Dealer for service. I told him that I think I will call Detroit myself and he said well maybe they can help you more than I can. He scheduled one of these appointments himself for 2 days with the diesel mechanic and himself to work on the truck, he went on vacation. He told us we had to drain out any water out of the fuel filter every time we put in GAS, well we aren't going to put gas in it anyway, and no you do not have to drain the fuel filter. We have never had problems like this before. We have always had Dodge Trucks or a Chrysler product of some kind. We will continue to buy Dodges but not from this dealer ever again. oh yeah we have another appointment for Wednesday. I wonder what that will bring.

They tried to sell me a vehicle at a higher price than it was advertised, claiming rebates didn't apply. But the ad didn't mention rebates. The salesman couldn't answer simple spec questions, and the manager was a arrogant.

Tried to Pull a Bait and switch had 3 different prices on a car. Looked at a Grand Cherokee, had one price in the Car Mart magazine, another on the rearview tag and another price on Autotrader which was lowest. I drove an hour to get there. When I arrived they said that it was an error and will split the difference with the highest price. The vice president was a total JA. Worst of all when I first called about this car the sales guy said "how's your credit". I was paying cash. I should have walked away then. Don't buy from Piedmont Chrysler, Jeep Dodge.
