Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Made a Trade At East Tennessee Dodge located in Crossville, Tennessee. I traded
a fully loaded, 4-door, 4 wheel drive 1999 Chevrolet Blazer for a 2000 Saturn
Wagon that's fully loaded & looks almost like it were new. I paid an extra
$4000.00 in hard earned cash. (I now realize that I gave too much cash in the
trade. At the time I didn't know.) I was happy with the little plum wagon. I
was not in the market for a car. For unknown reasons, I drove through the East
Tennessee Dodge dealerships lot. A wonderful young man stopped me. (I now know
this is a common practice, with most dealerships.) Super nice guy, gave me the
salesman pitch. I explained that I was just looking, but still, I wandered around
the lot with the salesman, looking at great vehicles & listening to the
life story of a young man who dearly loved his family. Very refreshing. I spotted
the Saturn wagon, asked about it & after a few days of debating the price,
the salesman tells me his manager will allow him to accept $4000.00 cash &
the Blazer. SOLD!! I bought it. I was thrilled. The purchase was made March
5th, 2007. As I left the lot, I noticed the gas gauge was on empty, less than
2 miles, the car stalled on a busy highway, OUT OF GAS!! Three days later, I
was pulling into a parking slot, the car began to jump & shake & a loss
of power light & the engine light came on. I was frightened. I had never
had or even heard of a car "acting" like this. I called the dealership.
I took the car to the dealership, after a week, I was called & told that
the car was fine, that bad gasoline had caused the problem. I listened &
acted as if I believed the diagnosis. Drove the car 37 miles over the next 5
days & again, the jumping & stalling was happening & warning lights
were illuminated. I took the car back to the dealership, after a month had passed
& I had called about thee car several times, I finally received a call from
the dealership allowing that the car fine & I could pick it up. The service
department handed me the key, the fob was gone, I asked about it & was told
that it had been misplaced & if it wasn't found, the fob would be replaced.
I wasn't happy but I understood & accepted the apology. Most anything can
be misplaced. The man walked me to the car, unlocked & opened the door.
Something didn't look right. I then realized that the entire console was missing.
My daughters cd collection had been left in the console. The console & cds
were gone. I was upset, but stayed calm, I was told that the console would be
replaced. I could handle that. I was most disturbed with the cds, that belonged
to my daughter being gone. I dreaded to tell my 14 year old that her favorite
cds were taken while the car was in for repairs. I knew it wasn't going to be
a calm moment in our lives. I was right, I had one upset kid, After promising,
that I'd replace her favorites, via internet or any other way possible, she
agreed to calm down. I've spent $83.00 & still lack a couple having them
replaced.
Less than a week later, the car does the same thing, as before, I was on I-40,
the car began to shake & jump & then stalled with the "loss of
power & engine light, glowing". A tractor trailer swerved off the interstate
, possibly preventing a terrible accident. A couple other cars were in danger,
as well. The truck had to swerve through 2 lanes in front of the other cars
to keep from ramming my car with me in it. I returned the car to the dealership.
After a week, I was told the car was fine & I should have no more problems,
the console had been replaced. I asked about the keyless fob & the manager
told me that the car was not equipped for a keyless fob. That the car didn't
come with a fob. I showed the manager the key tag that came with the car, the
tag stated 2 keys & 2 keyless fobs. I received 2 keys & 1 fob &
now it was gone. My brother had an extra keyless fob, programmed it to the Saturn.
It worked very well, just like the original that came with the purchase of the
! car. Since it worked well, I thought it would be best to not, put up a fight,
even though I knew the car was equipped for the use of a keyless fob. I returned
home replaced the batteries in the fob. The fob will not work, the feature had
been disabled. Two months & 3 weeks have passed since I purchased the car
& I've added less than 150 miles in the car. However the car has more than
1000 miles, than the day I purchased it. The manager was very rude & disrespectful,
treated me as though I were nothing. He's sticking to the story that the car
was never equipped for use of a fob.
I regret the day, I pulled on the East Tennessee Dodge dealerships lot... A
real nightmare. I'll never trust or buy from the dealership again..
lost $4000.00, the Blazer, a console, my daughters cd collection. I have a cute
car that is too dangerous to drive with no fob, an extra 1000 miles were put
on the car. The rudest manager that I've ever seen. A terrible experience.

I will not buy another vehicle from East TN. Dodge because the service dept.
is like pulling teeth to get a response when you want to get service. It has
happened 2 times, I call to make an appointment and no one will answer the phone
to make an appointment. The first time I was
persistent because I had bought the vehicle there and thought I would get better
service which I doubt made a difference. The second time the secretary continuously
wanted to let them call me back when the dept. would not answer quickly finally
I gave in and gave my name and phone number. Well no surprise I never got a
return call and I was going out of town thus wanting to get the service done.
I would not be so aggravated but when I have been in the dept. there are at
least 3 people working at desks to talk to people about their service so why
such a hassle to get an appointment? I am done and intend to spread the word.
Thank you.

Bought a 2005 Gr Caravan in April of '05. the salesperson was fine, however,
when I went to the finance dept to do the paperwork, I did not notice at the
time, they had changed the sales price from what I was negotiating with the
salesperson. They conveniently added almost $5000 to the price of the car. When
I returned to the dealer, the salesperson remembered what our agreed upon price
had been and also questioned it,The owners response:we allowed too much for
the trade in of the car!!!! I will never buy there again and since have heard
nothing but negative things about them. In all fairness, the service dept was
very good the one time I was there and looked at my car immediately without
an appt.Do NOT use this dealership ever!!!!

We went to buy a PT Cruiser on May 31, 2004. After 5 hours of "discussion"
and paperwork with an inept sales person we finally drove off in our new car.
The next day he called us to say that all the paper work we filled out the previous
day was for the wrong car. Now we have to make another trip there to fix what
he should have been paying attention to. Consumers beware! Shop elsewhere.

Salesman did not return call. Acted as though not interested. No help at all.
Offered other vehicles of no interest at all. We were interested in a 2004 PT
Cruiser, and a 2004 Jeep Liberty. We provided all paper that were asked of us,
and plus three visits to the dealership. Once we were given a salesman that
we didn't know, and knew nothing of our interest in vehicles. They seemed more
interested in other things. I bought my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee there in 2001
no problem at all then. Now we are going to another dealership out of town and
its a huge inconvenience.
