I shopped for my new truck at the dealership, but did not buy. The salesman
had only been there 2 weeks, and knew far less about the Dodge Rams than I did.
I ordered the truck from another dealer. When it came in I purchased some oil
filters and accessories from Hallmark Dodge's Parts Department. The experience
was good. At 3,000 miles I changed my own oil, and at 6,000 I took it to Hallmark's
Service Department for it's scheduled service. They were pleasant, but their
performance was horrible. They dented the fender. The 5.7 Hemi calls for 7 quarts
of oil, but they only put in 5 quarts. They failed to tighten the oil filter
sufficiently to keep it from leaking, and they failed to lube the outer tie
rod ends which was called for. They also balanced the tires, which was not called
for, and I didn't request. They did offer to pay for the damage to the fender,
however I chose to file a claim with my insurance company. I will not be returning
to Hallmark for anything.
The truck has covered 7,500 miles in a little over 3 months. Approximately 2,700
miles towing a 6,000 pound trailer in mostly hilly to mountainous terrain. Reliability
and performance have been perfect. Towing mileage is about 11.5-12 and around
town, about 13.5-14. I am very happy with the vehicle.

They really know how to treat you. I purchased by vehicle via the Internet Department.
Pat was able to answer all my question, give me pricing, and have the vehicle
that she assisted me in choosing ready for a test drive. The whole experience
was great and painless. I feel that I got a good deal. Service was just as easy.
They had introduced me to the service team at the time of the sale. When I arrived
for my first service I already knew the service staff. I highly recommend using
Hallmark Dodge for sales and service. The Internet buying experience was the
best.
