Sales=Avoid,
Service=Don't Know
These people will blatantly lie about themselves and other dealers while looking
you in the eye, even after being confronted with fact. Also, they refuse to
believe that any customer could possibly be well informed about vehicle options
and pricing, repeatedly attempting to mislead customers who demonstrate thorough
knowledge of these subjects. Shelby Dodge will attempt to sell you a vehicle
quite different from what you think they are selling you, they will insult your
intellegence, and will NOT quote a price for a vehicle or extended warranty
unless you put down a $500 security deposit. If you deal with these people you
will be taken. I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership, however, if
sales is as underhanded and unscrupulous as they are, I can only imagine what
service is like on the back end of the deal. These people will unashamedly lie
about ANYTHING. There are plenty of Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth dealers in the tri-state
area. DO NOT waste your time and money dealing with Shelby Dodge.

Sales=Good,
Service=Avoid,
I bought a 1999 dodge stratus with 5000 miles on it. The salesman who is no
longer there said that I could bring it back &to get the brakes serviced because
of a small squeak. I brought it back 3 times & all they said was that I had
cheap brake pads on it. They said I should have had mopar pads & they wanted
to charge me $200 to fix it but whoever put them on did it correctly & that
there was nothing wrong with them. I had to get them changed in November 1999.
I just bought the car in November 1999. It was recalled for a small brake problem
of which the dealer repaired in November 1999 I think. I brought it back twice
& they say nothing is wrong. It has an extremely loud piercing noise whenever
I am driving on parking lots (5 miles or less) it is so loud that everyone on
on my church parking lot can hear. It's so embarrassing to have a new car with
loud squeaking brakes.
