Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
Overall, just a horrible dealer. I wanted to tried to purchase my vehicle at this dealership, but the sales staff was so inept. Also I caught them in a couple of lies because the forgot the lie they told me a few days prior. Their service department is absolutely terrible. I have taken my car there several times all because of one issue. I had an accessory (iPod connection) installed. They have two different types and they first installed the wrong one, even thought I personally purchased it from their parts department.. they still put in a different one. So they had to take that one out and put the right one in. Then when I got my car back I noticed a significant scratch on my center console and the radio stopped working properly.
I also had them do the tinting on my car.... there are many crinkles, I made the mistake of having them do an oil change.. and doing more than one thing at a time confused them. When they brought the car out for me... the windows were rolled down!
When they finally got the replacement bezel for the scratch in the dash.. I took it in and also asked them to check the tire pressure sensor because the light wound not go off. They called me just before they closed to tell me they need to keep it over night.. that they needed more time. I dropped the car off at 7:30am and they are open till 8pm! So I pick it up the following after noon (because they couldn't finish it in the morning like they said) and the same scratched bezel was there. They insisted it was swapped out for the new one, even though the exact same scratch was there. So I had to take it back the next day. Finally they swapped it out but now there is a new scratch on a different part of the console and the tray at the bottom is miss aligned. I have given up and am afraid to take my car there again for fear that they will damage something else.
This is just half of it, I am just tired of typing...

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I would have chosen AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE on sales and service but it is no longer an option. I bought a 1 year old truck from the used car department. The used car manager bold face lied to me regarding the extended warranty, which was the deciding factor in the deal. Nory, the used car manager and a finance officer both lied and told me there was an extended warranty from Dodge that was transferable with the title so I didn't need to sign any paperwork for it- LIE!!!!! When I bought the truck the salesman I was dealing with said the dealership would put new tires on it since the tires that were on it were almost worn to the steel and totally unsafe. When I returned a couple days later to have the new tires put on they told me my salesman had quit and they would not honor the agreement for new tires. After I bought the vehicle 1 week later the front brakes failed, then the back brakes failed so I brought it back to the dealership. They put it in the service department. After 5 days of not hearing from the I went to the dealer and was dealing directly with the service manager. He told me they still didn't know what the problem was since "it was too dangerous for his employees to drive around the lot to figure out what the specific problem was". The next day he called to let me know it would be about $1200 to fix the brakes, even though I had only bought it less that 2 weeks prior. When my husband had come to the dealer to help me resolve the problem the general manager came barreling into the front office so defensive and threatened to throw my husband out of the dealership or he would call the cops. He was cussing and throwing a fit from the very beginning. He was the most arrogant man I have ever dealt with, he would not even listen to what problems I had had with the truck, he refused to sit down with Nory (the used car manager) and I so we could determine what the initial deal was. About a month later the truck started leaking about a gallon of oil per day. Another dodge dealer looked at the truck for the oil leak and determined the engine had been ruined. The new dealer replaced the engine because Allen Samuels was so horrible to deal with from the beginning. They had lied from the very beginning, saying this truck had been through a detailed used car inspection. When I asked them about the inspection when I started having brake problems they "could not find the paperwork" showing it had all the different point inspected. I have made it my personal mission to make sure as many people know how horrible Allen Samuels Katy Dodge is. They are willing to find a vulnerable person they can take advantage of and have no remorse. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
I would not even take a free vehicle from Allan Samuels Katy Dodge!!! LIARS!!!!

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I have had my 2004 2500 cummins truck in the shop 5months out of the year and a half that i have owned it. It took the service dept a month and a half to get a new transmission in my truck. I was told it had to be shipped from Dallas. One and a half months from Dallas?!! Then the truck had a few little problems, window not working, truck not starting, and so on. They did a good job getting this problems fixed. But here is the reason i am upset. I took my truck in beg of aug, cause the truck was knocking and running rough. They said they needed to put on a new head, but it had to be ordered. Over a month later i get the truck back. Grease all over the inside, hose to radiator overflow not hooked up, charged for an oil change which was never done, and the chip the dealer had previously installed was stuffed under the passenger seat! When i question all of this i was told: the head had to be broken in, that was the reason for knocking; my truck is already dirty, so who cares about the grease. I was told to drive it awhile and fill it with new fuel and the truck would be fine. Three weeks later the truck; which never stopped knocking and running terrible, died and had to be taken back to the shop. I was told i needed a new injector. Three weeks later i get the truck back, still knocking and running terrible. I was told to clean the air filter, and fill it with new fuel and it would be good as new. Two days and eighty miles later, truck dies again, and this time there is oil and water coming all out of the bottom of the truck. So now the truck is back for the third time in three months and two thousand miles for the same dang problem. My brother also has a 2004 cummins and he has had nothing but problems with this dealer. I will never take this truck to this service dept again!
I do not think this is a bad truck, i would consider buying another truck from dodge. But the mechanics not knowing how to fix any problems and then lying straight to your face and trying to "sugar coat" things is insane. "Just fill with new fuel and it will stop knocking!" "Its running rough and knocking because we put on a new head. The new head needs to be driven a hundred miles or so, then it will stop acting up!" These mechanics are nothing but parts changers, guessing and hoping that the problem is fixed.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
I was involved in an accident and decided to take my truck to Allen Samuels Katy Dodge to have it repaired. Fairly minor repairs, front left fender and bumper as far as I knew. While in the body shop, mistakes were made that either the bodyshop manager does not know about or is lying to me about that caused about severe electrical damage to the truck that no one seems to know how to fix because the truck has been in the shop for over a month now with still no resolution in sight. I only know what happened to the truck from casually questioning the bodyshop employees on my on about what they saw going on with my truck. No one in the bodyshop office has made anything that resembled an attempt to be honest with me about what is going on. All they do is brush me off and make excuses.
I have never been happier with a truck before. Since this dealership has destroyed it, I am convinced that it will never be the same. This kind of mistake can cause problems years down the road that I will be stuck paying to repair. As far as I am concerned, they should replace it.

This place is a pure joke. I go there to pickup one of those $20k lonestar rams in the newspaper ad. After test driving and waiting around for 4 hours to get down to some hard core numbers I'm flat out insulted and would have rather been slapped. I own a truck (paid for) and a car which I owe 17k on. These guys suggest they give me $22k for both cars, when the one I owe is worth that alone, minus the 17k I owe and count my two cars as $4k down. Then to add further to this insult I'm told my car, a 35th anniversary camaro is worth nothing and they would roll the full payout of 17k over to the price of the truck. Then as one final kick to the sack they set the sell price of the truck at 26k , a full $6k ABOVE the ad price. So they want to take out the price of my trade from my down payment, then also tack that same money onto the truck loan (so I'm now paying twice for the car I already own), then they will roll this car on to the lot and make a 3rd sell from this sam! e trade in. WTF!!! After a few minutes of arguing how math works with the idiot sales manager I storm out disgusted at the thought of ever driving a dodge. Next time I go out Ill be going to a gmc dealer where they don't try to triple sell a car.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
Took my minivan in 2 times for a problem in engine/0r steering wheel area. Both times I dropped off at specific appointments that I was told to bring in. The first time they had it all day, and said they could not find a problem, although the service rep heard the noise also. After picking it up the noise/humming was still there as I showed the service rep. He told me that they drove it a lot and it did not make that noise when they drove it. I called the service rep 4 times about info about my vehicle, each time he told me he would check and call me back immediately---he never did at any time----I picked it up at about 7pm that day. He told me to bring it back on Thurs. morning. I said I needed it back by 1pm that day---he said that is fine. I went to pick it up, and he said that it wasn't ready---they were waiting on a hose to come in so they could fix it. So I left to return at 3:30 pm. He said that they put a new hose on, but it could also be another ! hose. When asked why they didn't replace the other one, he said it was not covered under my warranty. But if it needs it to come back again. Well, the only way my vehicle went back was on a tow truck when it broke down the next evening at 10pm at night coming home from a football game. They replaced the Torque converter, and overhauled the transmission (supposedly) which was warranty work, but they also did work that I did not approve of. As a matter of fact, they NEVER called to let me know what the problem was, until a few days later when they called to let me know to come and pick it up. They did fix a problem that had the car running again, but they did not fix the original problem and I am still having. The service manager suggested that it would be better to take it to another dealership.
I feel that I was taken advantage of since I am a female, and I was treated as if I don't know anything, especially since they would not ever talk to my about the work done on it, until I got upset and wanted an explanation of the work done on my car. I will never buy a Chrysler vehicle ever again, and I have owned them for about 17 years. Left a horrible experience to remember and I am still hoping to get resolve.

I found a used car on the web site of this dealership. I called and made arrangements to view the vehicle the next day. After test driving the vehicle and deciding to go ahead with the purchase I was told that the car was $2000 more than the price in the advertisement. Although I had a copy of the ad from the previous day they would not honor this price.

I would like to say thank you to the emission tech. I believe his name was Kraus?? He took the time to come and tell me what was wrong with my truck instead of letting me leave not knowing. He explained it carefully and I want to say thank you.
No one is perfect but this man in human. Most dealerships lie and you can't trust them at all but he makes a difference.

bought there=No, scv_there=yes, I trust this dealership, always found them to be polite, helpful, and I wouldn't take my Durango anywhere else. Don Koenig very nice and helpful. Even Ollie the driver, who took me home, very polite. Our Durango was serviced first at mikes mufflers for many problems and was disappointed by there workmanship. So I took it to the new dodge dealership and have never had a complaint yet. If you do have a question the manager and Don were quick as lightning to put it up on the lift to look to see what might be your question or concern. I will always go here and recommend their service to others. My husband and I had to do some extensive repair work to the Durango 4x4, but the service made the repair process easy and I felt confident that our Durango was repaired by top notch service men. Thank you, a confident customer... thank you Katy, TX Allen Samuels Dodge service department.

Sales=Good, Service=Excellent,
Let me ask a question. How can ANYONE put together a why buy with as little information as is being posted here? I understand that you are trying to provide a service to people, but what benefit does it do if you have only 4 or 5 comments? Legitimate sites pay top dollar to marketing companies to have these surveys conveyed for each dealership surveyed. Anyone can build a website; but can you supply ample information to sustain such comments? Burden of proof is a hell of a thing to prove in a court of law when you have no raw data to reference. Opinions are just that-opinions. I'm not just standing up for Allen Samuels (although he WAS nationally recognized in Forbes magazine as one of the top dealers in the COUNTRY); this is meant for all the dealerships listed on this site. Too bad there isn't a string to start posting to for EVERYONE to read when they wanted. I can't think of a time when a customer has been treated unjustly in either the sales process or while in service. I mean, have you bothered to look at how many competing dealerships there ARE out there? Who could stay in business with anyone KNOWINGLY treating our patrons in that matter? Gimmee a break.
