Well, still waiting (since July) for my radio to get in from the manufacturer. Hope the radio's in before my husband get back from Iraq, cause he sure isn't going to be very happy. Took vehicle in to have recall work done, while there they told me it had a second recall issue, so I said go ahead and fix it. Got truck back late that evening only to find out that my CD player was now broke. Woe, is me......summer has come and gone and still no CD. But Chip called me last week and said he would call me this week and here it is Friday and I guess Chip lost my number because still no phone call. Oh well, I'll let the hubby deal with it because I am extremely tired of trying to deal with it at this point.

The used car salesmen were rude and hostile over the phone and hung up on me twice. Do not use this dealership, they aren't ethical, and I feel very mistreated.

There is a frequent squealing noise coming from brake dust getting on wheels of my 2004 T&C. The problem with service dept. is the all day wait for an oil change, or tire rotation. This has occurred every time I have been in. The icing on the cake, so to speak was this past Saturday. A card
had been sent from Troy, Mi.,stating we miss you, here's a coupon for a 9.95 oil change. We drove into the service drive, where you are to remain in the car, no one came , although they were looking at us. We walked up and told him what we wanted, he said it would be 2 hours. So that finished it for us. I do not know what the problem is, but this dept.does not even touch the bottom of the scale.

We moved to Tyler last year and on the way here, our '01 Ram 1500 got a check engine light. The service department told us if we got it in at 8am the next morning, that they MAY be able to pull codes that day, and were very impolite at that. Our business went elsewhere + we make it a point not to go there. Perhaps Sales is a different story.

I was very content with my purchase of a chrysler product until it came time to visit the service department. To my misfortune, every experience with the service department has been an experience that I would not want anyone to experience. I would advise anyone to avoid this dealership at all cost. I am never buying with, nor am I recommending this dealership to any one that I know or come in contact with. It is a shame that a company based around the consumer does not cherish their most important asset, the customer.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Avoid, Parts=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I am disgusted. I bought the car there, Allen Samuels East Texas Dodge, from Jim Yates, a friend of my grandparents. The car runs wonderfully, the salespeople where perfectly polite, and easy to get along with. The car was paid off up front. A few months later I was involved in an accident. I naturally took it back to the place of purchase for repair. That is the biggest mistake I've ever made. After it had been in their "Collision Repair Center" for 3 weeks, I was provided a rental car, kudos for that. After six weeks, today, I pulled into the lot to pick up my car, and the first thing I notice is a big dent on the passenger side front fender, right above the corner lens. Something that should have been fixed. The "New" bumper covers' top edge, where it meets the hood, has many scratches and paint chips, that I guess must have gotten there when they reinstalled it. They painted it, I would thing they should be more careful. Before I even took it in, I was told it had only superficial damage. Now something squeaks badly under the hood. I am disgusted. This is by far the worst repair experience I have ever had with any facility, and I have no intention of ever returning. I would suggest the same to anyone considering taking a vehicle there. Save your time and money, you would do better to do it yourself. Thanks Craig for the shoddy work.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
I have taken my 2002 Chrysler T&C in there twice for servicing. The first time, they fixed a steering pump but reconnected a hose incorrectly, so the power steering fluid leaked out. I took it back and they repaired it with no problems.
The second time, I took the car in for an oil change and they told me that it was supposed to have the transmission fluid changed after 20,000 miles. (I found out later that the owner's manual said 48,000 miles, and only then under severe driving conditions). I agreed to have this done and afterwards, I immediately noticed that the transmission - which had been working perfectly up to that point - had begun slipping, so that there was an audible knock when the car downshifted from second gear to first. I once again had to take the car back to have this problem fixed, and while there is no longer a knock, I feel like the transmission does not shift as smoothly as it did before the "servicing."
o, I was charged for unnecessary work, which was then performed so poorly that it caused lasting problems. I wrote the dealership a letter setting out this complaint one week ago, but so far they have not seen fit to reply.

Sales=Poor, Service=Good, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
We started off to purchase a vehicle under 12,000. After looking at several that were close, just not where we wanted - price wise, we said under 12,000. i told the salesman thank you, but we were going to look around some more and started to leave. he said "wait, I got what you need" he directed us to his office to wait for him while he went out back. After a few moments he returned with a vehicle that was like what we were describing, pleased even more when he told us the price was 11,995. Great HUH!....... price wise, since my fiance had never bought a vehicle from a major dealership before we decided to finance it in her name, and for her credit rating(which has been perfect from day 1). That afternoon, they called us to let us know that they got it financed for us, and we could come and pick it up..... I had class, so my fiance went there alone to finish the deal!....By the time they finished with her, that 11,995 price had shot up to 18,995 with all the add - ins they told her she needed, BS! And when I questioned the business manager about the High Interest Rate they gave her, he just smiled at me! The Dodge Truck I will purchase next year, will be bought somewhere else, unless they make it right!
Unless the next deal is pretty damn sweet, we wont buy another vehicle from here, Never!

Test drove a Caravan. The salesman, maybe 25 YOA, gave us a quote on monthly payment @ 0 % interest and actually had the math wrong, was off by some 20% (even after talking to his manager). When we couldn't agree on a price he said, in a smart ass manner, "If you want something bad enough, you'll just have to pay the price". We laughed and told him we didn't want it bad enough. He called our house for two weeks trying to get us back, but when we asked about our price he wouldn't give us a straight answer. This is the second time in 2 years we went to this dealership and our first experience was no better.

Went in to buy a truck and agreed on the price and initialed the papers went home to clean out the trade in and take a nap before going back to dealer to pick up new truck. Asked for the salesman and was told he was gone for the day ,but my truck was ready and all that was left was to sign the papers. The Manager who had to be all of 19 came over with the folder as the receptionist is setting at her post shredding documents and give a new set of papers with a $5,000 difference in price. The young punk in told me I was crazy and to go ahead and sign the papers ,When I told him they were not the originals he got really ticked off and called me every name in the book. Needless to say the next day it was with great pleasure to have the salesman call me and ask when I was coming to pick up my truck. I informed him I was picking up my truck ,he replied no your not I don;t see you since your tuck is outside my window. I replied well your right I am not at your place I am at another dealer picking up my truck and thanks to that smart A$$ teen manager you have just lost your commission. Boy was he ticked I ended up saving $8,000 due to that guy even took the truck by and show it to the salesman for the heck of it. They are BIG HEADED since they feel they are the only Dodge dealer in Tyler I would not ever recommend them to buy from.
