I bought my 06 RAM QC 4.7 new from these guys. i originally went to another dealer over in grapevine, Lithia. it was the first dealership i made a trip to and was treated very very well but they didn't have the color truck i wanted, and this being the first purchase i had ever made, i bailed on them. before i left, i got a quote from them with a price on it, in writing. i then made my way to Allen samuels. the sales guy didn't really seem to have the answers to all my questions. at time he kind of made stuff up and i had to correct him. really pushy. the pushiness became shoving when we sat down to talk prices. i told him about the price i got at Lithia and he got real nervous. by the way, allen samuels was over $1,000 over Lithia's price. I hadn't done any haggling with either one of them. it seemed like after we sat down in the office, the salesman was so fixated on me selling the truck he got downright stupid. i would mention a price and he would say he'll be rig! ht back and run to his manager who would then approve it. 5 minutes later he would conveniently forget and i would have to remind him. i eventually got a piece of paper and had to write it all down for him. getting to point, he made his way to his manager something like 5 times so eventually the manager comes in himself and asks what i want. i said i want you to match this price etc etc and he says fine. i come the next day to seal the deal and all of sudden the idiot forgets the price we agreed on and we have to start all over again. finally i price i agree with and then all of a sudden he throws in 1200 in dealer add-ons he never mentioned before. i say hell no i don't want and he can take them off and keep them. so he cuts that 1200 to 600 and then later to 400. bottom line, go somewhere else, save yourself the trouble.

We bought a new Dodge Grand Caravan at Allen Samuels Dodge, Alliance just north of Fort Worth, TX. Brian Cooper was the salesman that we worked with, and he was terrific. He really went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and our family schedule to have the van ready at the time that we could pick it up. We demanded a lot, and he delivered. We did our homework prior to purchasing the vehicle, and found them to be fair in their asking price. It was a GREAT buying experience (I've had some that weren't), and we really do agree that Allen Samuels is "our friend in the car business." Give them a try!

(Hope this is posted to the correct dealership - there are two Allen Samuel's dealerships just north of Ft. Worth; this one and the North Richland Hills dealership. I can't find Alliance anywhere on the map or in the DC dealership listings - Dave)

I took my Ram into the service department for odd screeching noises in the front passenger area. Being that the truck was still under 36K miles, I figured that what ever was wrong they could take care of. Well, three days later a service man phoned me and said that they were done. I went to pick it up, asked what had been the problem, and the service man said that "they hadn't heard any noise". I took him for a drive to hear the noise (I could hear it loud and clear) and he still said he didn't hear it. He said they would check it out one more time, so I left it with them.
The next day I received a call from him saying they identified the problem as being a brake issue and that the repair would cost around $250. I told him not to work on it and that I would be there soon (he didn't like that). I told him that if it's a brake issue I would change pads or flip the rotors myself, and that's when he handed me a $75.00 bill for no work done. I complained and got the line of "well, the mechanics have to make their money". The worst part is, once I pulled the front right tire, I noticed that part of the metal clips that hold the pads to the calipers was sticking out and looked to be rubbing the inside of the tire's rim. I bent it back into place, put the tire back on and solved the problem, no more noise. Took 15 minutes, but cost me 4 days without a vehicle and $75.00. Thanks Dodge

Purchased a 2000 Durango from them. The salesman lied about the type engine it had. I had a 5 mo. old baby with me, while waiting several hours to fill out the final paperwork my child's reflux problems became an issue. When we asked to please come back and finish up the next day we were rushed in, rushed through the process, asked to sign a document with blank spaces so they could fill in the percentage rate once they finished the paperwork. Assured it would not be over a certain %. Needless to say they lied and when we got the financing paperwork from Chrysler it was too late to do anything about it. This dealership will treat you in a rude, underhanded manner. They will leave you waiting for hours. They will lie about financing, the re-arrange the numbers in such a way that you pay more once every thing is said and done than the vehicle was originally priced. Also once you sign anything they are done helping you, don't try to ask about the tires being a little worn or needing a second auto unlock button for your keys because they won't budge an inch. Plus they actually turned over a sheet of paper and asked us to sign our name so they could get the manager to approve the price like that would stand up as some sort of binding contract. All in all it was a horrible experience and I will not only never buy a vehicle from them again, they sold me such a crappy Durango that I won't be buying any Dodge product again, EVER!
Allen Samuels Dodge - Fort Worth, Texas does not care about it's customers.

I tried taking my 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport to get warranty work done on my air conditioner and air bag. I called and made my appointment and arranged to drop it off that evening. When I got there the service associate went and inspected my vehicle and entered everything in to his computer and proceeded to tell me I didn't have a warranty. I asked him to double check and he did. I asked him to call Grapevine Dodge and have them fax my warranty information over to him. He told me he didn't have a phone book and he wasn't going to call up to the operator and ask her. After 15 minutes of arguing with him I got in my van and drove 30 minutes with 2 screaming children cramped in the back of my Camaro (my transportation back home)to Grapevine Dodge. My service associate at Grapevine Dodge had no problem pulling up my warranty. The incompetent sales associate at Allen Samuels Dodge couldn't enter the mileage correctly. He entered 1476 instead of 48000 miles and the last time the van was serviced was 28000miles. So needless to say my van is now at Grapevine Dodge being repaired. And we had to drive 45 minutes back to my house with both children screaming. Not a good experience!

Parts Department: Friendly and Helpful, until there was an issue: I bought 2 new "Heavy Duty" shocks for the front of my B250 van (which has the heavy duty suspension option). I was assured these were heavier duty than any other Mopar shock available. I installed them. They are marshmallows. When the van hits a dip, the front end bobs up and down, repeatedly. Within a couple of days, I asked what we could do. The Manager said "nothing." I had installed them , so they were used. My problem, not his. Doing the normal bumper bouncing test shows the van keeps bouncing after you have stopped your bouncing. I.E. weak shocks. All the manager seemed concerned with was that Dodge wouldn't let him return them, nor would they let him exchange them. Customer satisfaction did not register in his brain. I asked repeatedly for a reasonable outcome. No luck. I wouldn't have bought factory shocks but I have done the bumper test on a couple of newer RAM vans (150's for that matter) and they were stiff and tight feeling in front. I had hoped for similar results. No such luck. So I give a "poor" rating to their Parts Department.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know,
My husband and I went to look for a new Dodge Durango. We found a very nice one and were allowed to "ride' in the truck as the man drove us around. First sign, this wasn't a good thing! we went in, filled out the paper work, and was told the truck was 14,995.00 by the time we made an offer on a trade in 3490.00 plus 4000.00 down, which was a total of 7470.00 which should have left the amount owed to be 7505.00 plus the tax, title and license. He the "offered" to finance the rest at get this..60 months at 420.00 per month. Now adding that up this makes this used truck....$32,670.00 In the meantime he dropped the truck to 13,995 and offered to extend the payments to 74 months and the payment stay at 420.00..doesn't compute, because this now makes the truck a total of $38,550.00. My husband exact words to him were..."And I suppose you ain't goin' to kiss me either right????" The he says to this man: "Please don't try to do me any favors because they are getting more expensive the more you try!" My husband told this man he owed us an apology for wasting our time and we left the dealership. Veryyyy bad attitudes from everyone, not helpful at all and they all need new calculators!!!!

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
My truck has made a popping noise in the front end and Quad cab doors have rattled since the day I drove it off the lot. Ten Months later and three trips to the dealer and both problems still exist. I've had 4-Wheel Parts in Fort Worth look at the front end and they told me it was a bad track bar. I told the dealer this and they looked it over and blamed my after market Rancho shocks. Their excuse on the doors was "could not duplicate customer complaint" I've heard that one before! Anyway, I will continue to take it back once every month or so until they can fix it. If it comes down to the last month of warranty some 2 years from now and is still not fixed, I will take it in every day the last month before the warranty expires. Maybe persistency will prevail.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know / No Experience
