I haven't found a service or sales dept that cared about how their customers feel. Well Alvin Dodge takes it to the next level. They have shown me that they do care about there customers, I will see them more often for there service.

Once again, had to take the truck in for repair. I have 15 items on the list this time, including items that have not been fixed the other 25 times that the truck was in for service.... MIL was on.. Code 0442. That seems fixed. Trans downshifts to second at 75mph on 3% road grade. No problem found... Headlights flicker - No problem found. Had to add 1/2 quart of Power steering fluid to pump, but cannot see any leaks... No problem found. Howling in Rear End, that stops when you let off of the gas pedal - They say Ring and Pinion Gears, I say Wheel Bearings - Results: Still has the same problem.... Look, I could go on forever about this, and, how very bad I am ALWAYS treated. Bottom line is: 1) After driving Chrysler products for over 25 years, will look at Toyota or Nissan next time. 2) I will NEVER every bring my truck back to this dealer for service, nor, will I ever tell anyone to go here, well, unless they enjoy wasting their time!!! Yes, while I realize that this dealer did not make this truck, they should be able to at least take a pro-active stance and fix the problems. I took it in 9 times before they could figure out the problems with the ABS brakes.... This truck should have been recalled, bought back, or whatever... Now, because I have so much more into it than it is worth, I am forced to keep it... But, when I can, it will go away, and never again will I say: Buy American!! When a $8900 Nissan, built in 1994 is more reliable than a $34000 Dodge Truck, that really says something....

Have taken my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 in 5 times now for the Speedometer not working, and still overheats on hot days (240-260)... They still cannot find the problem. The service writer told me that it was normal for it to run hot. I explained that I have the trailer tow group, and the heavy duty cooling package. He said that they run hot because of the emissions. Found the problem, bad thermostat. Bought same temp size from NAPA, now no problems.. Spedo finally would stop, and I could tap it, and it would start again. Informed the dealer, and they said they would order.... Also, I had taken the truck in 3 times for very hard/no stop brake condition. Had to get the owner involved before they would even change anything out. Told me that it was my imagination.!!! This dealership used to be very good, however, with the experience I have had, I would not recommend them for service at all!!!

I have have my Stratus serviced under warranty at this location on more than one occasion. They would argue with a brick wall. The service manager almost called me liar once. They never listen to the problem symptoms and as a result they misdiagnose problems and don't fix them the first time. I went to the General Manager once to express my displeasure with the service department.
