Have bought several vehicles from this dealership and have always dealt with
Ronnie Bothe.
Ronnie will bend over backwards and do anything necessary to get you the best
possible price.
Not only that but Ronnie is a good person who believes in making buying a car
a pleasant experience.
Dealing with Ronnie is a change from the stereotype sales person who is out
to "rape" the customer to make the most money for himself and the
dealership. Highly recommend buying from this dealership and Ronnie in particular.
On the other hand the service department leaves a lot to be desired. The people
in service make you feel like and idiot that does not know what you are talking
about. Even though I will buy here again I will never have my vehicle serviced
here and will drive 35 miles to another dealership to get it done right.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid, Parts=Avoid, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
I would not recommend doing business with Appel Dodge. I went to the dealership
and they had a used ford truck for sale, and I talked with the salesman about
purchasing the vehicle. It was agreed that I would be back in the afternoon
with my husband, but upon returning the vehicle was sold. I then bought a Dodge
from another dealership and I thought I would give there service a shot. I would
recommend taking your vehicle there if you don't want it fixed! The gas pedal
was spongy, so we dropped in for service to get this corrected; however, when
I was driving home it was doing the same thing (foot pedal to the floor)and
you would only go 60 mph. I called them back and asked what they did and Rick
Schroeder (the rudest man ever) told me that they replaced the injector (somehow
it was the first one that was replaced) because it was the easiest to reach!
I told him that it was not fixed and I just paid them over $200 for this so
he told me to bring it back in; I did. When I went to pick up the truck
he told me the floor mat was in the way and caused this, so I paid them $200
to move a floor mat that was not even in the way nor the cause. Customers want
honesty and trust and you cannot get it at Appel Dodge. Remember this is the
place for bad service all the way around! Don't know what the problem is because
Appel Dodge would never say!

Outstanding dealership. Well Organized, competent personnel and customer oriented
service managers.
There cannot be enough good said about this group. I have had several TSB's
which have not been updated into their system. Still they performed the requested
work and promptly delivered the vehicle as promised upon completion.
Now a days its difficult to receive service after a sale. Many dealerships will
stick you in the sale and feel no need to provide service. Its up to us as educated
consumers to know what is covered in a warranty and not, we should not tolerate
double-talk from a service writer or his/her manager. This is not the case with
Appel Dodge. A "customer deserves respect attitude" is their motto.
My complements to their staff and management.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Poor,
Service department is not real good. Took van there 3 times and they can never
hear my fan belt squeaking. So after warrantee went out I put a fan belt on
my van and the noise went away, so I can not understand how they could not hear
a noise. It must be selected hearing, what you think????
