The used car sales rep., Taylor, was very helpful in finding a vehicle to suit
my needs. At the time I was undecided if I wanted to purchase another Jeep Cherokee
Sport (for practical/economical reasons), or pick up another Ram truck (for
towing/hauling reasons). I was not wanting to purchase new (I never have) because
of depreciation of value, so was limited in my choices with what was on the
lot. However, after looking at a few vehicles a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quadcab
was traded in while I was test driving another vehicle. I looked the truck over,
took it for a test drive, and found it to be in excellent shape. It had low
miles, was loaded, and had a few extras (like having the factory tow package,
CD player, bedliner, etc.). Taylor gave me their price, I countered with a lower
offer, we haggled, and compromised about in the middle. They even threw in the
8 year/100,000 mile extended warranty for free! I would highly recommend Bankston
Dodge in Frisco, TX. to any one.
I just wish I would have known about this website before, I would have added
my comment when I first purchased my truck.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
Went to this dealer to see about buying a new Jeep Wrangler. I do not have good
credit and explained this when I inquired about a new vehicle. Spoke to "little"
Steve who took my information over the phone and called me back the next day
to tell me that i was approved for financing and needed to "come and pick
out a color Jeep". When I arrived at the dealership he had a bright red
Jeep pulled up to the door and told me it was my Jeep. It was not the style
or color i wanted so he had one other choice, which I accepted. He let me drive
the Jeep, which I ended up loving, and then we went to sign paperwork. Come
to find out I was not approved for financing yet but after almost 2 hours he
came back with an offer and although it was a high payment, I agreed. After
another 30 minutes or more he came back and told me that he forgot to have me
bring 6 months of paycheck stubs and that he would have to get back with me
the next day. He called me the next day and told me that they pulled some strings
because they "want to sell as many Jeeps as they can" and that his
finance officer pulled some strings with a personal friend (like I owe him something).
Very unprofessional sales technique. Would not recommend to anyone.
