I live 5 hours away from this dealer. I do like the prices on their vehicles.
But I cannot get the sales department to ever call me back. I have talked to
them several times and they would say we will call you right back. I still have
not heard anything back. I'm glad I did not make
The 5 hour drive to find out they do not have the product. I guess my money
is not good enough for this dealer.

This was the second vehicle being purchased there. The sales rep. lied about
the rebates and no-one would tell me the amount of my trade-in. After sitting
for 3 hours and 3 people were helped ahead of myself that had come in after
me in the finance department, I asked for my keys back to leave. At that point,
a finance person and my sales person show up and ask me to drive the truck home.
I was told that I would be contacted and they would bring the paper work and
contents of my trade-in to my work due to working past their office hours. Two
days later, I called and told them that I wanted to get my truck back and would
be there to get the truck that afternoon. I had to take off work early to made
the drive from Dallas. I still never found out the trade-in value and the $7000.00
rebate we had discussed was not true. When I arrived to pick-up my vehicle,
they had already put stickers on the window to sell it - with my contents still
in it. I would avoid this dealership unless you do not plan on reading the contract
before signing it!!!!!

I have bought two vehicles from Bubba at Bonham Chrysler in the past two years.
He was and is awesome. The dealership was very nice to me. Their finance team
is also the best that I have ever dealt with.
I would recommend them to anyone. The only way that you could have a problem
at Bonham, is if you want there to be one. Those guys are so helpful. The sales
manager's are nice also. You usually don't get that at the other dealerships
that I have dealt with. Joey,Kane and Bubba thanks and I will be back!

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
While on a business trip, I stopped by Bonham Chrysler on my way home to see
about trading in my truck on a new 2500 diesel quad cab. I was met by a salesman
named Jeff, which proceeded to show me trucks in line of what I wanted. I spent
a considerable amount of time with this salesman before making my choice of
truck. When it was time to sit down and work the numbers, it was explained to
me that my trade in was only worth a small amount compared to what the book
value was, per management . When I asked for an explanation, a manager named
Joey removed the salesman and started in with high pressure sales tactics, telling
me that my truck was a wreck due to hail damage. The manager left and I asked
the original salesman for the keys to my trade in so I could retrieve my cell
phone and a the insurance estimate for the hail damage to prove the damage wasn't
as bad. The salesman gave the keys back to me but the manager was obviously
angered at his actions asking him why he was giving my back the keys. I thought
it strange but proceeded to hear what the manager had to say after the salesman
was again excused. I became irritated with a barrage of unexplained math and
excuses, even though the price of the truck interested me. After asking several
times what I would be getting for my trade in an exact dollar amount, the manager
got very upset. I then asked to speak to the original salesman who I had been
dealing with and was told he had left the building on other business matters.
I ended the conversation on that note and proceeded out the door. I saw the
original salesman enter the building and thought it best to thank him for his
time and to contact me if the dealership changed their minds. As I entered back
into the building I hear the manager giving a very aggressive and demeaning
scolding to the salesman all the while being told that if he ever gave a customers
trade in keys back, that he would be fired. I again left and headed for my vehicle,
finding it hidden on the other side of the building!
As I was leaving, I see the salesman exit the building, obviously shaken by
the chewing he had undergone. I call him over and thank him for his time, giving
him my business card just in case a deal could be made without the manager at
a later date. The next day, I received a call from the same manager, explaining
that there was no sense wasting time on the deal. From this experience alone,
I will not consider this dealership a viable source for truthful dealing. The
games played and the utter lack of respect and integrity makes a person speculate
just why a salesman was threatened with his job for handing keys back to the
owner of a trade before a deal is struck. I also got the distinct impression
that my trade in was hidden on another lot to keep me from leaving. Beware of
this dealership.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes,
scv_there=No,
I bought a 2001 dodge truck from them on May 4th of this year. It was parked
in the back and covered in dirt as most of them are. The tailgate was missing
but the truck appeared to be in good condition. The sales man, James told me
he would get me a tailgate "no problem". I drove it, liked it, and
bought it. He said I would have the tailgate by the end of the week. Two day's
later when I was washing it I found 62 hail dents in the roof of the truck.
I called James and told him what I had found, his first words where "I
didn't know anything about that" but he ask me to send an estimate to him
and he would see what he could do. The estimate to repair was $850. But the
repair man showed me where they had done major repair on the hood as well. I
called James expecting help and he put me in contact with Shawn the general
manager who told me sorry "you should have looked it over better"
I laughed expecting the same from him but he did not. He said "if you buy
a truck from me and drive it out of the lot, if it breaks in two in the middle
of the street you own two halves of a truck". Well, back to the tailgate,
James told me he would find me a used but dent free tailgate and send it to
"the best paint and body man in town" and have it painted black to
match my truck. It is now may 27th and my tailgate was just delivered. They
took a red tailgate and it looks like they used spray paint to paint it. The
paint is two day's old and is peeling. If you plan to buy from these guy's take
a ladder to check the roof and don't leave with them owing you anything. Also
don't take anything to the best paint and body shop in town.

I called Bonham Dodge and talked to a salesman named Bubba, he told me they
would beat the other prices that I told him I had gotten from other dealerships.
I had to drive over one hundred miles to get there, when I got to the dealership
and got their price and told them the other dealerships that I had talked to
had offered me a better deal, they as much as called me a liar, both Bubba and
his manager Joey, the way they worded it was, I really don't think the other
dealerships would sell you the same truck for the price that told them I was
offered by the other places. Then we sat down to some high pressure sales from
Joey, also while he was working the deal, he threw in a lot of fuzzy math. If
anyone that reads this is smart they would do as I plan to do, never step foot
in Bonham Dodge again.
My new Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Laramie with a Hemi is excellent, no complaints, I
love it and so will you if you buy one.

Saw a used truck on internet and sent a message through the link on that page.
Never received a response. Called the internet department 3 days later, was
told they'd return my call right away, and 2 days later still haven't heard
from them. Must not need my business. I sent an email through the "contact
us" segment telling them their internet department stinks and business
must be great if they can't respond email or phone. THEN I got a response saying
they'd never seen my original email (but it was sent to the same place as my
complaint) and I really shouldn't go anywhere else cause I'll get screwed. Sent
an email back saying that didn't explain not returning my phone call. They sent
another email back saying they were sorry they couldn't make me happy. And to
top it off, they couldn't spell! They might be good in person, but internet
dept is totally incompetent.

I purchased the a new 2002 DR 1500 RegCab 4X4 after haggling on the phone for
~15-20min. The sales reps (two actually managed the sale for some reason) were
quite courteous and knowledgeable. They significantly beat the price at other
city dealerships. My purchase was pleasant and the finance department was equally
attentive to my needs. I had purchased the vehicle with a corp account and I
was asked to give a $300 check to secure a Daimler-Chrysler discount. They had
accidentally cashed the check instead of destroying like they had said. I contacted
the finance department and the accounting department who told me how the error
occurred. A few days later, I received a refund check for $300, just as they
had promised. Seemed a genuine error had happened and they politely corrected
the problem. This encounter really made me feel better about the dealership.
I have only had some routine maintenance performed. The service center was quick
and handled things appropriately. I didn't give them a perfect score because
I haven't had adequate
experience with them.

Kody (used car sales)and Kane (finance) did a great job in assisting my wife
and me. The extra drive was worth it. The follow on service was okay as well.
The only reason I did not rate them as excellent is because I did a blind trade
in and I did not get what I wanted for my trade in. I reviewed this webpage
before going and started not to visit them... however I am glade I went. Go
for a visit.

Very good price on Dodge Ram 2500 series trucks, but they really, really want
to screw you on the trade-in. They were $3500-$4000 lower than than 5 other
dealers I went to. They could not explain it except to say the other dealers
were screwing me, without any reasonable explanation as to how they were doing
it.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
After a very bad experience at Hoyte Dodge in Sherman I went to every dealership
in the area, this included McKinney, Dallas and to several on line sites. Here
is where I ended up and got a great vehicle at a very good price. No only was
the sales staff great to work with we visit with them when we have of vehicle
serviced. We purchased a Y2K 4X4 3/4 Ton LWB QC 5speed and its great. We have
had it now for one year and I have waited that long before posting to ensure
my first impressions were correct. Bonham is the only dealership that has touched
my vehicle except for an occasional oil change at some location across the US
or those I do myself. The service staff are just great. I currently have 41K
on this truck (enough time on this rig and dealing with Bonham to say this).
In over 42yr of owning vehicle it is the best truck I have ever owned and Bonham
is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. (No they don't have a clue I'm
even posting this). When the time comes (soon) to replace our 97 Caravan and
this pick up (not for a loong time) it will be Bonham I'll go back to.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know
Made me feel very uncomfortable. Salesmen were very arrogant despite their being
unknowledgeable. Prices were much better in the city where more competition
was right down the road. Prices were better at ALL the inner city dealerships.
I guess I thought a little drive out to the country would save me some money.
I guess they think once you drive way out there they got ya. I guess $3000 (not
exaggerating) is to much to throw away for me.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
Attempted to lowball me a price on a truck and were only going to give me the
final price after I gave them a nonrefundable $1000 deposit to order the truck.
Yeah right! Told me that their "word was like gold" but would not put anything
in writing. Also try to sell you an easily defeated security system for $200
that you could have installed for under $10. Avoid this place.
