We bought a brand new 2001 Dodge Stratus Coupe from this dealer. We noticed after the first year that the paint was fading on top of the car. Now after 4 years nearly all the paint is off. We took the car to the dealer and showed the service manager(which seemed not to care.) He
told us that is was nothing to do with the paint job itself, it was an oxidation problem. Which I find unbelievable. None of our other vehicles having even attempted to fade. He said that since our warranty had expired he would split the cost of a top coat only with us. our part he quoted was
$1100.00. I feel this is bad service on Bossiers part. We have bought 3 vehicles from this dealer. I will never go back to do business with this dealer and would recommend everyone else do the same. They are not a good company to do business with and could care less about their customers.

The sales department just do not listen to the customer. they like to play their price an let the customer wait game. After wasting over an hour and we still did not have the final price, we just left. 30 sec later the sales manager caught up with us and wanted to play the same game again. It took him another 5 minutes to produce a price range which we had to choose. How hard is the answer what is the best price you can offer today for that specific vehicle??? We would not buy from this dealership even if they would be 500$ cheaper then the best offer we had so far. If they threat their buying customer that way what would be the the experience in case of service...

My wife and I went to Bossier Dodge as a "fly by" visit just before attending a concert. We test drove a used truck and had our trade in evaluated and were pleased with their courtesy. The used car sales manager, Henry Coleman, thanked us for stopping by and sent us a letter a few days later thanking us for our time. My wife and i decided that a new truck would be better suited to our needs. So, we called Henry to see if he could help us with a new truck and he said he would be delighted to. Henry and the staff at Bossier Dodge went out of their way to see us into a truck that would meet our budget requirements. I would recommend to anyone to visit Bossier Dodge and give them a shot when purchasing a new or used vehicle. Our experience was well worth the time, drive and effort.
Our truck is still brand new.... So far so good and seems to just get better!!!

Their sales force is a bunch of retards that are simply out to charge as much as possible and say any thing for a sale. I would never buy a truck from them I would use Henson in Madisonville. The service department is not very good and it usually takes multiple trips to get any thing done right and it usually takes them a long time. It took them over 1.5 weeks to change out my steering box, power steering pump, brake booster, and fuel pump and not to mention me bringing it in 4 times to get them to finally do something about it. As for the parts department they are ok sometimes depending on who you deal with, but you have to watch their prices and many times they don't have it in stock.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I have a 2002 Dodge Neon SXT with 16,000 miles. We purchased this car in June 2002 and two months later had to take it in for making loud squealing noises when braking. They told us it was just rust buildup, it happens all the time. Six Months later we take it in again, same noises, same excuses. Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, my daughter says her rear window is shattered. Several witnesses say no one or nothing was around the vehicle to cause the window to shatter. The only thing holding it together was the window tint. She drove is slowly 30 miles to dealership. Glass specialist confirmed that there was no indication that anything had struck the window. Service Tech informs us that warranty on glass is only covered for up to 12,000 miles. Our warranty book states nothing to support that, and the only thing warranty does not cover is tires. We have basic limited warranty on this car and that consists of 36,000 miles or 3 years. We call warranty people and they read us information pertaining to warranty covering glass up to 12,000 miles but this is out of a 2003 Dodge Warranty manual. It has since been upgraded and more specific in detail but this does not pertain to our 2002 model Neon. Bossier refuses to repair the window until further evaluation is made by Mr. Walter Bragg which we already know what his decision is based on what information? 2003 regulations apply to a 2002 model vehicle. In the meantime, my daughter is without her car and they have it sitting out back with the glass slowing falling into the car.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid,
First of all, I used to own a Dodge stealth, which of course means the only people who could work on it was DODGE, The service department is the worst thing I have EVER seen before. Absolutely ridiculous wait times and not very nice people. They don't even know what they are talking about when it comes to cars. It took them three times taking my car in to figure out what was wrong with it, first they told me one thing, I replaced the part, my car was still acting up, took it back again, nothing, again, and finally they figured it out. Naturally, I took it somewhere else to be fixed, (family friend), then after having to replace my computer in my car I decided to trade it in, being as dumb as I am I looked at the Chrysler Sebrings, I love them, so we sat down worked some numbers and they put me in the Gold Key program, (basically a lease)I specifically asked the salesperson,are there any mileage limits and he said absolutely not, mind you I remember this in detail!!!!! Then after I read the very fine print 6 months later I found that there was. OF COURSE. Then I started having strange noises with my car, I took it in, they changed the brake pads, it still does it, I took it in twice more, they can't figure it out. So here I am VERY upside down in a car that makes strange noises. I have just found there salespersons completely incompetent and not moral at all. I recommend you do not go to Bossier Chrysler Dodge in Bryan/College Station Texas

Sales=Avoid, Service=Fair,
I do not recommend this dealership for several reasons. I will give the top 2 reasons not to shop there for a vehicle. These reasons are based on my personal experiences and other people's experiences that I have heard about.
#1 The sales people are out to charge you the most they can take you for and they are rude. (Example: In 2000, my husband and I went there to purchase a Minivan. The salesman told my husband that we could only afford the most basic minivan there is and that we won't find a better deal anywhere else. When my husband told him we were going to look further the salesman told him "you have a beer budget and champagne dreams." Needless to say we left and shopped further and found a great deal on a new Grand Caravan Sport with CD, premium sound, etc for an excellent price. Dealership was Henson Motor Co in Madisonville, TX)
#2 The salesmen are not up front with you about the vehicles and their business practices are unacceptable. (We bought a used (3 yrs old) Chrysler Cirrus from them in 1998 and it had to have major repair 3 days after we bought it. The reason we "bought" it is a whole other reason we won't buy from them. I tried the Cirrus out overnight per their suggestion and left my possible trade-in car at the dealership overnight in lieu of possibly buying the Cirrus the next day. When we came back the next day they had already sold my car to some company and it was on it's way to Mexico!!! They didn't have my permission or my title to the car! Needless to say, they gave me a "deal" on my Cirrus to "compensate". Since then I have heard similar stories from other residents in Bryan-College Station. DO NOT BUY FROM BOSSIER! BEWARE!

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know,
The sales experience was fine, although a little slow. My father and I were purchasing new Ram Quad 1500's, My mother a new Stratus, and my sister a new Avenger - all 1998 models. We purchased our vehicles in March of 1998. I will admit, that I don't think we received a very high level of service, but the service was adequate. See... I put down $19,460 on my Ram, my dad $8,000 on his, my Mother $8,000 on hers, and my little sister paid cash for her new Avenger. With all the CASH MONEY we laid down that day between the four of us, you would think that the salesman, and the whole sales department would have been tripping over themselves. I just came away feeling like they could have done better. I still feel they are a credible dealership....and possibly my expectations were a little high.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know / No Experience
