I purchased a 1995 dodge Dakota from them at the time called rodeo dodge. Sales dept. were great at first but the minute you sign the paperwork they don't have time for you about a year later I begin having problems with leaks to windshield area,to make a long story short I took the truck back five times,and went thru Chryslers mediation before the problem was resolved. Each time I took the truck in they were unfriendly and I would leave truck there for weeks at a time(to repair a windshield) I'll never shop hear again and have spread the good work as to how they treat people.

I purchased a 2000 Ford Focus at a wholesale special around January 17, 2003. My Grandmother and I signed one set of paperwork that stated on it the sale price on my car was 6,777.00. My Grandmother did not want the date of payment on the paperwork she had just signed, so the finance manager stated that he would redo them and send them to us first thing Monday morning. We went home trusting that we would have paperwork in hand on Monday morning. BOY WERE WE WRONG. Here it is the middle of April and we do not have any paperwork stating that we even purchased the vehicle. We have attempted at least 25 times to get the paperwork and have made two separate trips to the dealership!! STILL NOTHING. They finally sent us the paperwork and come to find out they added 995.00 to the sale amount on the new paperwork. They said this was for the window etching. After investigating from the original dealership the car came from the car already had the etchings when it was sold to the original owner. I have asked again for the original papers that my Grandmother signed in Jan. and again I get the response that it comes from there main accounting office in Richardson????
I can't believe this would take 4 months to get from an office that is 30 min from the dealership, nor do I believe that any one at this dealership knows what there talking about. Please be very careful if you decide to buy from this dealership in the future, and maybe I will see you guys on channel 8 news so that maybe I can stop this situation from happening to others in the future!!!!!!!

I telephoned dealership inquiring about 2003 ram 1500. Salesman took my name and number and said he would check stock and call call me. Never heard another word. Apparently this dealership does not need the business or want to sell new trucks!! With dealerships like this, it's no wonder Dodge sales are low!!!
Stay away from this dealership as they are not interested in selling as they do not return calls after telling them what you want ad are ready to buy now!!!! If they are not interested in your business. I can imagine what interest they would show after purchase from them!! Capturing new customers apparently means nothing to them!! Must be nice to have a business that doesn't need new customers!!

It seems I had the same experience as the other person had about pricing. I too called about a truck and when I got there sales person did the same thing to me. The managers both came over and told me OH WELL that happens! No wonder they are not recognized by Chrysler as a 5 Star dealer they treat potential customers like crap. Come to think of it at the time all the sale people were standing around because they had no one to work with. I hope this makes others aware of the sorry excuse of a dealership that they are. I even printed out the ads one with the orig. price and then the one that showed the lower price that the sales person quoted to me over the phone and while I test drove the truck. Doesn't care about dealers like this I would hope they would remove them from doing business since it has a negative impact on their bottom dollar. I would hate to have to use the service dept if it is any reflection of the sale group they have The manager even implied the salesperson didn't know what they were doing in front of GOD and everyone else in the show room, what a great guy he must be to work for, I wonder how well he sleeps at night after a day of treating people the way he does. I AGREE AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COST THEY JUST WANT THE MONEY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. IF THEY TRULY CARED THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY CHANGED THEIR PRACTICES.

Let me tell ya' if anyone is thinking about this place AVOID them. They are of no good. They had a truck listed on Auto Trader and would not stand by the price nor would they stand by the price the sales person quoted 4 times before I visited the dealership. Now we will see how they feel about Dodge, ATTY GEN. Of Texas, the B.B.B., and the chamber of commerce in Dallas and Mesquite being notified about their Shady sales practices. The sales person had a deal until she cane back from having my trade looked at and said I have good and bad news. The news was that my truck was a good trade in and the bad was that the price for the truck was now $8,500 more than what the sales person had quoted and I was now told they lady had made a mistake and she didn't have a clue what she was doing ,that came from her so-called manager. The whole time the males of the dealership were sitting in a raised glass room and laughing about the whole deal and then they had no apologizes for what had happened nor were they concerned about a potential buyer driving several hours based on their world which is about as good as a Camel pie! BUYERS BEWARE STAYAWAY FROM THIS PLACE .There are too many other dealers that will treat buyer better. Still no 5 STAR RATING . No wonder BY the way they are part of Rockwall Dodge as well.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor,
My Dodge truck was turned in on a Monday morning with an appointment and the problem known ( I took it in on Friday and did not want to leave my truck over the weekend), and the promise of return that evening. I got my truck on Thursday morning with the excuse that they had to get a part from another dealer. The fact of the matter was that they didn't start on it till late Tuesday afternoon. That was after a $1400.00 bill and then the next morning I find trans oil all over my garage floor and take it back. Naturally it was not their fault, they "never touched the Trans" and it looks like I have another 300 to 600 dollar bill coming up. They had my car for four days, and charged me $1400.00 and didn't even wash it. I have had nothing but bad experiences with this dealership. I will never pass this place again! I asked if they were a 5 star dealership, and he said no, so I asked why the 5 star dealers tend to pay for some of the items on car repair, and the ! answer was that they get a better kick back from dodge. Go to this service center at your own risk!

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
This is my second Ram from Chaparral, the first time I wasn't very impressed. The new sales guy mad a point to let me know that the dealership was under new management, and that things were being done a little different than in the past. And Id have to agree, I was treated with a great deal of respect, and really feel like I got a good deal on a great truck. :)

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know,
I received a notice in the mail that I had won a prize. The first prize being a new vehicle. When we arrived at Chaparral Dodge of Mesquite, Texas, they could not issue a prize immediately although the brochure between 9 AM and 9 PM. We arrived at 11:30 AM and no one could give us our prize. We were told that their advertising agency would arrive at 12 noon. They are the ones giving the prizes. While we were waiting, we decided to visit the used car lot, and while we were there, no salesman, no one came to help us. Another customer even asked if I worked there. We went back into the dealership's new car show room and no one asked to help us at all. There was only one friendly person in the whole place and she was the receptionist. I have been in the automotive business for 41 years and this dealership was the most unfriendly place I have ever seen. I will not buy anything from them. The prize I received was a gift card to Toys R Us. It was worth $5.00. These people are cheap skates.

Bought new viper there. Would think they would treat me well? Car delivered covered in dirt (interior, exterior, under hood), couldn't get paperwork to register car for a month, couldn't get spare key for a month, when it came, they sent electronic fob in envelope so broken, they damaged side curtains, warranty papers took 2 months and repeated calls to Chrysler, .... Once they have your money - forget any kind of service. I would advise you to avoid them.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Good,
Got vehicle ordered, a 99 Dakota R/T, for $300 above invoice. Service department is about average. Service writers could stand to learn a little more about their products. Vehicle sometimes comes back dirty. They have done good diagnosis and mechanical work on my vehicle so far (4 service visits).

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
the best dealership I have ever seen and I will always use them and only them.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or No Experience
