I was sold a 2000 Dodge RAM 2500 Quad Cab SLT with 29,000 miles on it for a total loan price of 5 years at $24,000.00. I bought it on 02/18/02. From that time, to the time I ended up selling it on 06/10/02 it had been in the shop 3 times a total of 29 days. I had to learn from the mechanics at Rockwall Dodge that it had been a snow plow truck in Michigan. From start to finish the following parts were replaced. Both front end ball joints, all tie rods, power steering lines, front differential spicer gears, steering box, both suspension springs, both front shocks, and the coil. I contacted Daniels and Fry to inquire as to what they could do and they let me know they were not responsible for anything and that the truck was in good shape when they sold it to me. Oh ya, the real axle was also bent. According to Daniels and Fry the truck went through a 128-point inspection at Bonham Dodge. I called them and they had no record of the vehicle ever being at their dealership. Daniels and Fry said they got the truck from them originally. So how could Bonham not have a record of it? I ended up selling it for a loss of around $7000.00 when it was all said and done. They never took any responsibility for selling me this piece of crap truck. I will never shop there again and will do what I can to persuade their customers to shop elsewhere. If I ever see the General Manager Phil of Daniels and Fry of Mckinney again, I am gonna kick him square in the nuts.
