Excellent service on the sale of my truck. Salesman was very knowledgable and experienced. I got a very fair deal on the truck and no BS or hassles. I wouldn't hesitate to buy there again. Truck is new. No service issues yet as it runs like a top and was very nicely prepped before the sale. So I have no experience with their service department yet.

If their Sales department is anything like their Service department, then I will purchase my next truck from Starr motors. I stopped into their dealership after getting nothing but the run-around at the local dealer where I had purchased my truck new and every other dealer from Richmond to Waverly could not even give me any information concerning a low fuel pressure/poor performance under a load problem. The Service Advisor (Sharon) was able to give me the warranty information that I was looking for. She listened to my thoughts of a possible bad lift pump and said that they would be glad to check it and replace it if necessary. Upon finding that the pump was going bad, they ordered one and called me when it came in. I drove down there and 45 minutes later, the job was done and I was asked to have a nice day and please come back if I needed anything else.
I was impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and eagerness to see that a Dodge owner was taken care of. Even though I had never been a previous customer, nor did I spend a dime that day, I was treated as though I had bought a new vehicle from that day.
I'm planning on moving up to a 3500 Cummins powered duallie in the future and I can tell you that I am 99.99% sure that it will come from Starr Motors in Suffolk, Virginia.

Posted to the TDRoundtable: Took my truck into Greenbrier Dodge in Chesapeake, Va...couple of weeks ago and stood at the counter for half-hour---started walking around and no one would even talk to me.......Went home called Dealership owner and complained and service dept called back, but it was to late!!!! Took my truck to Starr Motors in Suffolk, Va. and they fit me right in--I also spent about $500 dollars... All those in Hampton Roads read and heed!!

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know, Twice I have driven over 300 miles round-trip, from my home, to buy Dodge Ram pickups, from Starr Motors. They have a large inventory and excellent prices.
