I took my truck into the service department early in the morning. I received
a call around noon stating that they could not find my truck. The dealership
called the authorities to let them know that the truck appeared to be stolen.
After I called my insurance company, my truck came
back from the glass dealership with a new back window in it. My truck was mistaken
with another. No they have to take the window out and replace it with the one
I had originally. The service department also stated that they leave the keys
in the ignition in the parking lot if the vehicle is blocking another. Do not
ever take your vehicle to the service department. They do not have the ability
to even track the vehicles nor do they give a damn. I have sent a letter to
Chrysler stating the problem that I had. I am surprised that they are considered
a five star dealership and the fact that they are even still in business.

Service dept sucks!!! Try to rip you off avery chance they get, even if you
bought their extended service package. Not a 5 star dealership. Argue with you
about everything even though I bought the new truck from them. Once your out
the door they could care less.
Truck is good so far, a/c crapped out and even with extended warranty they wouldn't
fix. Front end wanders and pulls, had it realigned several times, still bad
even with different tires. Service dept. argues with you every time, it's never
the customer may know what they are talking about???

There high pressures sales guys really screwed us over.. their financing person
also was full of lies. The woman in the service dept. is an absolute witch!
She is very rude and grabs the keys out of my hand every time I bring in our
Durango for an oil change. I bring it here with my own filter so I do not have
to give them another penny!!! We are planning on purchasing another Dodge, but
will not consider Vancouver Dodge for our next purchase.

Most of my experience is with the parts dept. during which I usually find it
cheaper not to buy at this dealership. I always go armed with a part's list
price obtained online and this department's prices generally exceed list by
approx. 30%. One of their parts counter people said "I don't care what
other dealers sell for, there's the price!"
As to sales; this must be the highest priced dealership in the west. Now I see
that they are charging a "dealer additional markup" on new trucks
which coincides with the amount of the current customer factory rebate of $4500.
(on 2003 models) and $2450. (on 2004 models) They have decided to steal our
rebate incentive!!

I went to Vancouver Dodge/Mazda to look at Ram pickups and told the first salesman
I didn't need help. I then told the second salesman I was OK and didn't need
any help, then a third salesman suggested I have a nice day and leave. Needless
to say I will NOT be doing any business with this dealership and intend to tell
everyone I know about my experience and advise they not go there! They stink!

Bought a new Durango a few years back. I was trading in my Honda and told them
from the start we had no cash down. Once we agreed on the price we signed and
drove off in our new Durango. Three days later they call and say oh, by the
way you owe us $3,000.00! I was like the hell we do. We told them we had no
cash to put down and if that was the case why did they let us drive away with
the Durango. They said well, we have a new person here and she messed up! We
said fine we'll bring the Durango back and I want my Honda back. They said I'm
sorry we already sold your Honda so you will have to pay us the money you owe
or we will have our lawyers contact you and take you to court!
There are a small few in the service department that are easy and willing to
help you when you need it. Every time I go there for my oil change (part of
the agreement when we bought the Durango) I truly feel sick to my stomach!!!!!

I bought my 98 Dakota from Vancouver Dodge in December 1998. Since, I have serviced
it regular there and have always been treated well and fairly. The Sales staff
were superb and the people in the service department have always addressed my
warranty and maintenance concerns swiftly and with professionalism. Of all the
dealers I have dealt with in the past 40 years, they are by far the best I have
been to.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Fair,
Some of the service people are not very friendly. They seem to act as if they
are doing you a favor to work on your vehicle. The parts counter person seems
angry and indifferent. I don't feel real comfortable when I have to deal with
any of them. They never respond to e-mail requests for information. I am still
waiting for a reply to the last message I sent them concerning a TSB. They act
like they are the only game in town. Too bad, that they have to give Dodge a
bad name. I love my 2001 Ram Quad 4x4. But I worry that they are going to screw
it up during routine service or repair. When the clock spring recall came out.
I made an appointment with the service department to replace it. At the time
of the appointment they had the parts in stock (they are supposed to set aside
parts when appointment is made. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment
they had run out of parts. They didn't even have the courtesy to give me a call
and let me know that I! would have to reschedule. Not having any real choices,
I bit my lip and rescheduled. Why don't these people understand that courtesy
sells (even if the product sometimes doesn't)?

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
This is the second dealer I have tried to take warranty work to I took in two
vehicles rented a car so I could leave them overnight. One was a 2001 Ram 2500
diesel the other was a 2001 four door Dakota each truck had two problems, only
one was fixed (a squeak) on the Dakota. The Ram was worse and they couldn't
find any thing wrong. Although we did get a "complimentary" price Quote for
over $1000 dollars worth of service items they would be more than happy to take
care of when we brought the truck back so they could fix the truck (Dakota)
again. Yea Right!

Sales=Good, Service=Excellent,
I bought my 2001 CTD through the internet from Canada. The Map sensor went out
driving it home in a traffic jam near Seattle. Call the dealer in Canada, he
said take to the local Dodge Dealer when I get home. Drove to Dodge the next
morning. The service guys said I need to make an appointment and bring it back,
I ask to speak to the service manager, bang, the service desk ask what the problem
again. I explained he call the manager on the phone, the truck was left and
fix and pickup noon the same day. I have had another problem since. We also
looked at used truck at the same dealership. They were very nice and fair, the
dealership did have short bed, they were nice to us and we left. I probably
would speak to these for a new truck, but they would have to match the internet
price. They were close this time, they responded to my internet application
the day after I bought my truck from a Canadian Dealership. The fleet manager
said he would be hard press to go "cost less $500" which I got from Canada.
Unfortunately, he was a day late. Still, I think, I could negate a deal with
Vancouver Dodge with a little effort.
