Symptom/Condition:

The following describes speed control system operation symptoms that could be caused by the speed control servo and/or the EATX II TCM (Transmission Control Module).

1. Some vehicles may experience intermittent speed control disengagement when traveling at highway speeds. This usually occurs after 20-30 minutes of speed control operation, when the servo is at higher temperatures.

2. Some 1993 vehicles equipped with a 41TE or 42LE four-speed automatic transaxle may experience an intermittent speed control dropout and recover or intermittent disengagement when driving at any speed, usually on level ground. This is not dependent on the length of driving time or operating temperature.
