Shipping Tie Down Bracket Removal

Discussion:

The new Ram Pick Up is equipped with two sets of frame mounted tie down brackets. The brackets are located at the rear of the frame, fore and aft of the rear axle (See Illustration). Prior to delivery to customers, both sets of tie down brackets must be removed.

To remove the rear brackets, remove the two nuts attaching them to the frame. Remove and discard the brackets and install the nuts back on to the studs.
