DISCUSSION:
Every new vehicle built for the U.S. market on or after Feb. 25, 1997
(MDH 0225XX) is required by Federal Law to have new attention-getting Air
Bag Warning Labels applied to the visor(s) and glove box as determined
by vehicle line. Air Bag Label requirements are described and illustrated
below.
NOTE: ALL REQUIRED LABELS WILL BE INSTALLED BY THE VEHICLE ASSEMBLY PLANT. ALL LABELS MUST BE ON THE VEHICLE WHEN IT IS DISPLAYED IN THE DEALER SHOWROOM AND DELIVERED TO THE OWNER. THE LABELS (ESPECIALLY THE GLOVE BOX LABEL, P/N 04595748AA) MUST NOT BE REMOVED BY DEALER PERSONNEL.
