Models:
1994-1999 BR/BE Ram trucks
Discussion:
Door panels contain up to 13 plastic retainer clips and 3 screws (fig 1 and fig 2). It is extremely important that each individual plastic retainer clip is separated from from the door with the correct tool - failure to do so may result in damage to the interior door panel or the clips themselves. The correct tool is a Snap On A161B. Door panels should never be removed by hand without a proper tool.
FYI - base models have 5 clips on the bottom, 3 on the front edge of the door and 3 on the back edge. They are not equally spaced from each other. Premium models have the same PLUS two more at the top of the inner trim panel.
NOTE: DAMAGE TO THE DOOR TRIM PANEL MAY OCCUR IF THE DOOR TRIM PANEL RETAINER CLIPS ARE SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR WITHOUT USING THE PROPER TRIM PANEL REMOVING TOOL.
