Drip Rail Door Seal Torn

Overview:
This bulletin involves replacing the secondary door seal with an improved seal.

Symptom/Condition:
The drip rail or secondary door seal may become torn from contact with the lower “A” pillar of the front door.

Diagnosis:
Inspect the secondary door seal (Figure 1). If the seal is torn, perform the Repair Procedure.

Repair Procedure: 

1.      Remove the secondary seal from the retainer (Figure 1).
2. Install the new seal using the appropriate seal listed in the Parts Required section above.
