APRIL 6, 2005, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. THIS IS A
COMPLETE REVISION AND NO ASTERISKS HAVE BEEN USED TO HIGHLIGHT
REVISIONS.
Models: 2005 (DH) Ram Truck Heavy Duty
NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with a 5.9L Cummins Diesel
engine
(sales code ETH) and a G56 Manual Transmission (sales code DEG),
manufactured after engine serial number 57316510, built on or before
January 18, 2005. (MDH 0118XX).
Overview:
This bulletin involves installing a tuned dual mass flywheel.
Symptom/Condition:
Excessive engine vibration or gear rattle in neutral while at idle speed at
normal operating
temperatures.
Diagnosis:
If the Symptom/Condition is present, perform the Repair Procedure.

Repair Procedure:
Using the procedures outlined in the Service Information published on Tech
CONNECT,
remove the fly wheel and install the new fly wheel p/n 52014721AE.
Policy: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
