Issue: Take TSBs off the Internet. Customers approach dealers for fixes on vehicles when it doesn't apply to their vehicle.
Response: DaimlerChrysier does not provide Technical Service Bulletins via the Internet.
There are private owners, enthusiasts, and some technicians that have Internet web sites that provide TSB information to anyone interested in reviewing them. There are also aftermarket companies that sell this information, without our authorization, to any individual willing to purchase the information.
However, there are state and federal regulations that require all automotive manufacturers to provide Technical Service Bulletins to vehicle owners upon request. DaimlerChrysler complies with these regulations by providing relative TSB's to vehicle owners on request. In addition, all TSB's are submitted to NHTSA, as required by law, where they become a matter of public record and will also be provided to vehicle owners upon request.
